SETTING
From the bustling cities of Taipei to their zoos and museums, historical centers and food, the idols are free to travel wherever they please in the Taipei area. Idols will be residing at Grand Hyatt Taipei during their week-long trip in the city, a four star hotel just a short walk away from a local park. Taipei is popular attraction for Japanese tourists so there will be Japanese options available for menus and tourist pamphlets. The summer months are mildly hot and slightly rainy so be sure to pack an umbrella!
EVENT
A win-win situation for both Taipei and the idols - the city receives an increased sales rate from merchandise and the idols raise recognition for their groups for the upcoming competition. DOIT Taipei and Lou Cheng-En's video crew will document their adventures, compiling it into specials that will air in both Taiwan and Japan during the AiDORU competition. Handshake events, meet and greets, and small performances will be held but the main focus will be on the travel. Idols can mingle with one another, spending time with those out side of their groups. A fantastic week's getaway for the young idols! How will they spend their vacation?
This event is similar to the SPLASH 'N JAM event. It's a multi-thread event for you and your partner(s) to participate in! Have a character that's not an idol? Don't fret, you can still participate! Civilians can win a special ticket to one of the groups' concerts by purchasing a CD or enter a sweepstakes that gives them a paid trip to Taipei. Or maybe they have a friend who allowed them to tag along? Either way, idol hunting awaits!
