"Late! Late! So late!" one Miho Hidaka exclaimed as he impatiently waited for the crosswalk sign to change and allow him across.
It was highly unusual for Miho to be late to an official event of any sort, but this one was really an exception as far as Miho's book went. Short notice events were always the worst. Things would've been bad enough if he'd been a real girl and just had to hurry from school straight to the event. When you attended an all boys' school the difficulty of getting to an idol event where you were a performer became astronomically higher. He'd gotten the message - left earlier in the day of course - during lunch and had been stressing out about it the whole day. Asking to be excused early wasn't an option either. Officially 'Minoru' Hidaka didn't have a job and thus had no reason to be dismissed from class. There wasn't any time to get home and change if he wanted to be there with his fellow sheeP members.
So as quickly as he could he'd hopped on a train, transferred to another and finally reached the area where his presence was demanded. Actually he wasn't even that late. There was more than enough time to get to the site, change and even prepare somewhat. None of this had remotely crossed Miho's mind. As soon as the light changed he sped across the intersection, dodging his way through the crowd of people that inevitably occupied every Tokyo street. Just ahead was the event site! And behind it the makeshift changing room where he could finally rid himself of the oppressive male clothes that school demanded. Along the way he pulled his hair free so that he'd look more like Miho and less like Minoru.
When he got there it turned out he'd actually beaten everyone else to the event. He sighed in relief but didn't stall very long. It was only a matter of a few short minutes before the girls arrived to get changed. Thankfully he was highly skileld in the art of the quick change. With no one else around it didn't take long at all for Miho to shed his school uniform and don the cute group outfit in its place. Thankfully, he recalled, he had a sundress packed away in his bag; originally it was to allow him to change right after school. Now it'd make it easier to slip out after the event. In his haste to become girly once more, he'd failed to notice that a rather conspicuous object had fallen out of his pants pocket. Sitting underneath the chair he sat down on to do his makeup rested a small white card. On it was printed a portrait of a boy looking very similar to Miho. Atop the card were the words 'Nakagawa Boys' High School', and elsewhere the name 'HIDAKA, Minoru' and the boy's address. Miho was far too absorbed in applying some hot new lip gloss to notice his student ID card had fallen onto the floor.
The performance went off without a hitch and Miho was.. well, Miho. Cheerful, perky and incredibly gracious to the people who'd stopped by to see them. When things were over Miho was in an uncharacteristic hurry to depart, sneaking back to the dressing room to change before anyone else entered. Once in his sundress Miho waved his goodbyes to everyone and headed off to take the train home.
Once at home Miho discovered his mother was away on business for a few days. Some new kimono fabric had just been released in Kyoto and she'd gone to buy some for her store in person. You could tell a lot more about the quality of the item in person than you could from a picture online. After mentally wishing his mom the best Miho had locked the door and done what he really needed after a stressful day: go to clean up.
After a thorough job of it, Miho emerged from the bathroom with a towel wrapped around his chest not unlike a girl would do. He'd just always done it that way. It felt far more natural than the masculine way of wrapping it around the waist. Another towel was wrapped around his hair to help it dry off and prevent extra drops of water from ruining the floor. It was reassuring to see how feminine he looked in the mirror, even without the padding his bras gave him. Without a care in the world he started humming a favorite tune, which led to light singing as he debated what to do next in his mind:
"Uta wo Saa Utaimasho Sore ga yume no tsuzuki Takaraka ni ai wo utau yorokobi Uta wo Saa Utaimasho Sore ga yume no tsuzuki Tachiagare Kata wo daki Ashita wo utao!"
Miho had still yet to realize his school ID was missing. Or that someone might have retrieved it..

✖ I HAVE NOTHING TO DO TODAY but to smile. TAGS open ;; miho NOTES i hope this is good enough, haha. OTHER none. It was a decently pleasant afternoon, though the warm and humid sun was definitely out and about with its rays there was a peaceful atmosphere for the noon of the Japanese city. Both work and school out, there were many people walking around, more than even usual; even schoolgirls and boys along with businessmen in suits walked along the cement of the sidewalk to so much as walking out in the street if they were ever so brave, or reckless. Along with the crowds was one of older teenagers clearly out of high school yet they were dressed in casual clothing and had grins of excitement and chattered about excitedly. They stood on a street corner while wild taxis zoomed through the white crosswalk lines as if they were apart of a racecar derby along with shouts of annoyance that echoed off into the air from opened car windows. Yes, it was a typical afternoon of the Japanese city of Tokyo.
Despite the lively atmosphere of the teens or the rushing people that walked over anything they could find as a shortcut, there was a single woman who waited along with the teens for the street light to turn red for walking along the crosswalk boundaries. While she looked like she could have been apart of the youthful crowd there seemed to be something that set her apart from them. While her body looked more matured than one would find on a young female, her demeanor was simply more serious and dull compared to the cheery teens. A few minutes had pasted before the head street light turned red, signaling the crosswalk sign to lighten up and to beep to catch people’s attention. And energetically, the group of teenagers became to race through the crosswalk lines, leaving the brown-haired woman behind. Only a blink in response to the ambitious group before following their lead, her walking within the territory of the white safety lines to get over to the other side.
Once the cement of the sidewalk was underneath her feet once more, the brunette spared a glance a moving sign as she swiftly walked down the sidewalk. Today was a important day for Akiyama Akane, for there was a performance today; though lately mentioned, it was still a big deal for her group nonetheless. SheeP was a rather new group to entertainment industry -- ran by the Tiny Sheep company by Uchida Kazuki -- it was a group filled with newcomers, though Akane would say that if there was anybody who was purely worked as a newcomer it would be only her as all the other members were very skilled in her eyes. The others had everything she could imagine an idol would have: raw talent, a cute appearance, nice personalities, youth, and passion for their work and fans. While some others seemed to show it off more than the other girls the young woman definitely saw herself lucky to be able to work with such fine people indeed. While she couldn’t imagine why she was necessarily chosen as a idol as she wasn’t as good-looking, young, or really had anything that the sheeP females had but it was a way for her to live out her sudden dream as a singer and that was good enough for her at the time being.
“Ah, there we are,” the busty woman mused quietly, looking ahead of the street she was on. There laid the foundations of the building her group would currently be performing for. A small smile found its way onto her lips, and the once serious and dreary aura pasted by her with a cheery and positive one. She always found herself being the optimistic one when around others. She didn’t know why she was like that, but it felt instinctive ever since she was younger and she just couldn’t rain on anybody’s or sheeP’s parade, especially not today! Pushing the entrance doors open, Akane basically skipped into the concert building. Once one of the workers saw her, they immediately took and lead her to the backstage rooms where they dropped her off before she could even say thanks.
She noted that some of the others had already arrived, so she rapidly went over to the changing booth. Not that she took long to get changed and dolled up but so once she was done she could possibly help the others with something if they needed it. It took Akane only three minutes to change into her sheeP idol uniform which was a modified school uniform from a local high school of where sheeP had originated from. While the outfit wasn’t as fancy nor expensive as the other idols’ such as GEM and Afternoon Delight, the young lady felt it made her look youthful and pretty, for once. It was almost time for the show to begin, and before they all went on stage Akane looked over at the other girls, who looked cute as can be in their uniforms. “Good luck everybody, and make sure to have fun, alright?” she smiled with a quiet light-hearted laugh.
The event went by swimmingly, as in the end it seemed the concert was a success. Everybody had changed into their original clothes and went home, except for one older member. The young woman helped the other girls out of their uniforms as well as tidying the backstage room up before leaving herself. Not that sheeP would ever dare to decide to completely mess up the room in the first place but she felt like just making sure that everything was decent and taken care of.
Once all that was squared up and done, Akane decided it was finally time to change back into her original clothes; a plain, short-sleeved shirt and a knee-length black skirt with a silvery floral design. However, once she had entered into the changing booth, a piece of white plastic had caught her attention instead.
“Oh…?”
Placing the clothes in her hands on a low shelf of the room, the brunette went over to pick up the rectangular item and examined over it. It seemed to be a ID card, one that she would believe to be for school, seeing that it had a crest printed over it along with bold words of ‘NAKAGAWA BOYS’ HIGH SCHOOL’ along with a printed picture of a young boy as well as the name ‘HIDAKA, Minoru’ and a address in small-print. Hidaka… That’s Miho’s last name… I wonder who is this? He looks like he could be a twin brother of hers. Akane studied over the picture of the young boy; he had a light and blemish-free complexion and well-groomed blue hair of a darker shade along with a pair of matching eyes. He had many similarities between him and the energetic girl that Akane knew. But even so, why would Miho have a boy’s ID card, even if it is her brother? Hm…
Perhaps it could have been a mix up? From what the young woman knew, Miho was probably still in school as young as she was with her brother and if that was the case then the older female could see how a ID mix-up could happen, being one that came from a family with two daughters. But whatever the reason was she was sure to deliver this back to Miho and Minoru. Her brown orbs looked down at the card in her hand once more and gave a small smile; luckily for her she did have a address to go to after she would change back into her normal clothes. Another luck factor was that it seemed that the siblings didn’t live too far, it would be a fair walking distance so she could walk out without much trouble being how late it was outside.

There wasn't much studying to do, Miho realized. Not having friends in school did have the benefit of giving you extra time to get homework and study in while others were out goofing off. Which left a big void in his schedule for the rest of the evening. With his mom out of town on business it would be just him hanging out at home with only electronic devices as company. Not so bad some days, but it was kind of lonely after having a performance with sheeP not so long before. Maybe just watching some TV would be enough to keep him occupied while he tried out that new nail polish he'd picked up just the other day. Time would tell if a soft pink was a good color on him. So he took up a seat on the love seat in the small living room and powered the TV on. Some entertainment program was on, so he left that on in the background while he got down to business. One foot up on the coffee table. A gentle and expert application of the newest pink tone to each nail, taking care not to go outside the nail area. Next the left foot, getting the same treatment as the first. Thus far the pink was looking as cute as he'd hoped it would be in the store. A bright smile crossed his face as he leaned back and took in the latest popular gossip. Not his favorite kind of program but it was relaxing to a degree. After about half an hour of that, he got a weird thought in his head. He needed to step outside. There was no logical reason for it, other than that inkling that something might be waiting for him there. With nothing better to do he went into his bedroom to grab a yukata to throw on over his towel arrangement. Who knew who might be out there, waiting to catch a glimpse of a maiden such as himself? No that would not do. Miho loosely fastened the yukata in place at the waist and opened the door to get some fresh air at least. As he stepped out onto the balcony he spotted a figure approaching the building. At first he could only discern it was a woman. Then he spotted the brown hair and instantly recognized her despite the dark of night setting in. "Akane-san! Akane-san!" he called down to her, waving like a beauty pageant winner, "Up here!"Once he thought he had her attention, he invited, "You can come up if you'd like! Apartment 314. Just come on in when you get to the door!"

✖ I HAVE NOTHING TO DO TODAY but to smile. TAGS open ;; miho NOTES i'm sorry for the long wait! (;u;) OTHER none. Despite how warm it usually was during the summer, night time could be such a different temperature if you were out. The young woman held her arms close to her with the ID in hand while walking. She noticed the big apartment building she was approching. So this is where Miho lives. Brown orbs took in the sight with slight curiosity; even if she practice pretty much everyday with the girls of sheeP, they never seem to do anything like visiting each other homes. Work was too time-consuming to do so. Soon, a familiar voice snapped the brunette out of her thoughts.
"Akane-san! Akane-san!
Up here!"
"Hm?". The said female did exactly so, and once she saw the sight of long, dark blue hair and a beautiful yukata; a small simple smile surfaced on her lips.
"You can come up if you'd like! Apartment 314. Just come on in when you get to the door!"
"Ah, alright then! I'll be up there soon, all of this will just be a minute," she mused looking over at Miho, eyeing her as she walked back into her home. There was something strange about the young sheeP member, particularly her appearance. Now, the brunette wouldn't call her self a stickler on details but there was something off. My eyes must be playing tricks on me, probably because of the dark. Yes, that's it. Akane nodded at this thought while climbing up the stairs if the apartment complex.
Once she was there, at Apartment 314, her chocolate brown orbs stared at the closed door in wonder. So this was her member's home? There was a majestic quality of it to the young woman; she had never been to any of the sheeP members homes before but now was her chance. And not only was it visiting a home but possibly meeting family as well. Oh, how she lucked with this one~. She wasn't sure why, but thinking about all of it made her terribly nervous! Yet excitied too!
And with her hand pushing the door open lightly, Akane entered into the Hidaka home, the student ID in her hand. The brunette glanced around the apartment, taking in everything that she could. The place had a relaxed and simplistic atmosphere, something that you wouldn't think a home of an idol to have. However even with taking glances around the place, Miho was not in her sight. Could she have gone off somewhere? With the student ID in hand, Akane stood at her spot near the door. Ah, what to do now... Would it have been rude not to look for Miho or would it be rude to wonder around somebody's home? She didn't want to offend Miho or any of his family members who might of been home (or more importantly have them think she was an intruder). But, she couldn't just leave the ID around the door and simply leave.
"Miho-san?" she called out, taking a step away from where she once stood. But to Akane'd luck there was no answer. The young woman could only give a small, childish pout and a mutter. "... Where could you gone off to?" Though she felt like giving up just like that, Akane knew that she couldn't just do that. She supposed she could explore a little...

Just after instructing Akane to come on up to the apartment, Miho had snuck back into his bedroom. If he was going to have company he might as well be dressed a little bit better than just some towels and a yukata. He also didn't want to look like he was getting dressed up really fancy just for a friend's visit. This presented him with a conundrum that kept the blue haired idol out of view when Akane entered apartment 314. When he thought about it Akane was really like a big sister and anything would probably be fine. Smiling he pulled a lightweight nightgown out of his closet and at last emerged from his bedroom.
He heard Akane call out to him, which made him feel like he needed to hurry to get dressed. Couldn't have Akane waiting on him for too long after all! He managed to traverse the path from his bedroom (the only one in the apartment) through the living room and into the bathroom just as Akane decided to take a step into the apartment. At most he was just a blur of blue and white. Once inside the bathroom he shut the door and threw off his current clothing (folding the yukata well enough to not ruin it) and pulled the powder blue nightgown over his head. No bra, since it would take too long to get right and Akane had come all the way to see him. Maybe he'd look a little more flat chested than normal but he didn't think too much about it.
In his haste he'd forgotten to close the door to the bedroom. Inside rested a western style bed, book shelf, desk and closet. All rather plain if immaculately clean. A box of nail polish rested on the bed itself - Miho's secret stash of various bottles of polish in a rainbow of colors. A framed portrait of a younger Miho in a full kimono along with an older woman who strongly resembled him (his mother) rested on the desk. By the smile on Miho's face it had been a very fun time. In all it would have been a pretty normal girl's room had it not been for some other items in view. On the desk was a school bag clearly marked as originating from Nakagawa Boys' High School. Additionally a boy's school uniform jacket was hanging up in the closet but still visible amongst the dresses, yukata, skirts and other feminine attire.
After letting the lightweight gown float down over his shoulders, Miho stepped out of the bathroom and called out, "Akane-chan! Sorry I wasn't at the door to greet you! I had to get dressed since I just took a shower."
Moving deeper into the apartment, he smiled when at last he spotted Akane, "So what brings you to the Hidaka residence, Akane-chan?"
