SETTING Just a twelve minute walk from the buzzing electric district, Akihabara, Tokyo Summerland is a popular attraction for tourists and locals alike. The massive water park is split into two sections, the indoor Adventure Dome and the outdoor area. The Adventure Dome consists of a wave pool, multiple waterslides, a hot tub, and a hot spring that is popular among couples. Outdoors, one can find more daring waterslides, a large floatie and small floatie lazy river, and scattered manmade waterfalls. Residing a good distance beside the large lazy river is a decent sized wooden stage, benches and chairs surrounding it. Though it's not particularly the most grand arena, it definitely suits the summer atmosphere!
EVENT The nation's most popular idol groups were invited to perform for Tokyo Summerland's first annual Splash 'n Jam! The day's lineup were Afternoon Delight, GEM247, KiNGS, and SUPER☆RANGERS. The sun was blazing that day, though the mist and chlorine filled air brought cooling thoughts to the performers, pushing them through the tough job on the hot day. Fans gathered in the crowded corner of the pool and sat along side the scorching deck, cheering and sing along with their favorite performer's. Each and everyone of then was excited to see such a big event pool'd pulled off. Among the crowd were members of the rising idol group, sheeP, taking advantage of the event as a chance to take notes, aspiring that one day they will be among the same ranks as the day's performers.
