PERSONALITY Being the older one of the females of sheeP, Akane tends to act like a sisterly one towards the other members and seems to radiate a warm aura. Many times it seems like she’s a sis or bro-con, but she just simply cares about those round her and her tendency to act like a older sister sprouts from her past like it’s plastered onto her. Because of this quality in her, she is caring and likes to encourage others as well as slightly clingy to those that she knows and really cares about. She likes to see the positive aspects in things rather than the negative to the point where she’ll just act like it’s not there (but she does know otherwise). When she wants things done she is quite determined. She likes being calm and mature since she is older but when it comes to certain things she’ll act like an amazed child. When she wants to do something for others she is much more determined rather than when she is doing things for herself. But when her skills are bought up, she can be modest as she thinks she’s nothing really special.
Despite the way she acts towards and around others, when alone Akane is the opposite with her self. She is a little unsure of herself as because of her years when she was in elementary school did have a affect on her, and can worry about things easily. Once she is worried, there seems to be nothing that can really stop her worrying as it lingers in the back of her mind. When confronted with hostility by herself, she is very quiet and doesn’t like to speak up much to the other person (however it is almost the opposite if others are confronted). She doesn’t really realizes it but she really does put up a tough front when she’s with others.
HISTORY Raised by middle-class parents and a younger sister, Akane would say she had a normal life compared to most -- sure, there were a few struggles here and there but everybody has those, right?
Elementary school years were slightly rough since she was indeed the ‘ugly duckling’ of her class, being a little on the chubby side. Although she was treated differently Akane didn’t bother shooting a glare at those who belittled her, she just kept quiet. Though she and her sister, Kaede, were in different grades, her younger sister would always pay attention to her to comfort her by mostly singing to her sister as they played together.
As time went on, Akane developed early into a young lady, shedding her baby fat she had when she was younger and developed a mature body shape. Because of her developing appearance, she was no longer in the shadows but in the limelight now; people, especially boys, grew attached to her due to her looks while her little sister seemed to bother her less and less while others were around her. But as things in her school life began to rise, her life at home began to fall. Her parents decided that there was no more flame left in their love life which resulted in a divorce -- the two sisters would be divide to live with a different parent. Thinking that the divorce was devastating to Kaede and that it was her time to be a big sister, Akane decided to dedicate herself towards caring for her little sister. However, in the end her sister seemed spiteful towards her constant attention due to how it appeared Akane didn’t need her during school (while it was actually the opposite) and decided to chose living with their father, opposed to Akane who was selected to live with her mother. Since the separation, Akane developed a liking towards music, especially singing for it helped calm and sooth her.
APPEARANCE She seems to have the stereotypical body that woman would strive for; tall and slender with nice, womanly curves as well as a chest that is bigger than most Japanese women. She has lighter colored skin than others, though it is not entirely snow white pale; she does have random touches of color on her, as for her cheeks or hands for example. Akane has C-cup breasts however they can appear larger than they actually are, much to her annoyance.
Her naturally straight hair is a darker shade of medium brown (almost looking completely like a dark brown), styled in a classic bob hairstyle; the length is almost to her chin with messy bangs that sweep towards the right most of the time, as she will change which side they go towards for ‘variety’. Despite her body looking mature, Akane’s matching medium brown eyes still have a vibrant youthful look in them.
