personality A young man with the style of a troublemaker but the heart of a child. Bunei earned the nickname Bunny not only because of the similarity in sound but also because of his high energy. A fan of talking and accompanying his chatter with wild hand movements, it's not hard to find the young man quite obnoxious. He's always been full of energy, though he's learned to tone it down a bit, and admittedly is a bit of an insomniac at night. On average, the boy gets about two to three hours of sleep during nights, spending most of his time tutoring and studying. It's not uncommon to see him taking long naps during the day. Being an optimistic island boy, Bunei is laid back when it comes to schedules. He takes his time, always believing that he'd never be late, but as always he ends up late. He would spew out a cheerful apology when caught in the act but he seems to never learn from his mistakes. If anything, tell him to show up an hour early. Despite his faults, he always carries a happy mood. Acts of kindness are his specialty and since he has a knack for corny jokes, he figured that was his way of bringing smiles. The university student is quite selfless, always sacrificing his time to help others, even total strangers. He renews his first aid license as often as he can and even puts away portions of his paycheck towards activities and gifts for friends' special occasions. Bunei is also has a unique charismatic charm making him easy to initially get along with. Though he's often straightforward and blunt, thinking aloud and coming off as rude which can push some away from him. He's a bit sensitive himself when it comes to insults. Bunei has a tendency to admire others for very simple things which leads him to be a fan of many different people and idol groups, though Miki remains at the top of his list. And because he has several role models, he has a good sense of character: honest, loyal, and forgiving. But he is also gullible and impulsive. Used to being loved and the light of the party, he would feel guilty and sorrowful if he were ever excluded from anything. biography An Okinawan-born orphan who often switched between various foster homes growing up. He was a love child between two supposedly Chinese tourists, other than that not much else is known about his origins. Not that he cares anyway, Bunei is in love with his hometown of Urasoe, Okinawan food, the people, and its heritage. Bunei, often nicknamed "Bunny", was named after the third king of the Chuzan kingdom in Okinawa. His first foster parents had given the honorable name to him as well as their surname, Amuro. The teen often bounced between cares growing up, always meeting new people, exploring new parts of the island, and making new friends and families. But this wasn't something he felt antagonized about, Bunei was always happy being able to meet new people and was often a bright addition to his new homes, always more than happy to help around. Some of his foster parents were rich, others well-off, even poor; some lived in the cities, others in the suburbs, and even out in the country. Everywhere he went he was sure to help around the house, from cooking to cleaning to taking care of the other children - tasks which he got monthly allowances for. In his first year of high school, Bunei moved out of his foster parents' home to his own apartment, utilizing the skills he learned from helping around the house to care for himself. It was at this point, where he became quite fond of cooking. Every year on his birthday, he prepares a large Okinawan feast and gathers all of his foster families and friends together for a big get together. The boy initially receives pity when he divulges about his childhood, but unlike others he sees it as a rewarding experience. The only thing that he feels bitter about is his lack of sleep at night, a problem he's had since he could remember. He took his sleepless nights and turned it into a productive time for studying abling him to excel in all of his classes. In junior high, he joined his school's soccer team only being a mediocre player but his coach admired his energy. He was also found playing against members of the baseball team and basketball team casually, though he more than often found himself losing, he was always able to smile and congratulate his opponent's hard work. Upon reaching high school, Bunei signed up for as many sports as he could only to find out that their training was too rigorous for him and instead moved to indoor activities. The Okinawan was found in a variety of clubs during his school years, spanning from Kyudo to Go, but none seemed to satisfy him completely. It wasn't until a friend introduced Bunei to the rising idol group GEM247, where he fell in love with their songs and became a huge fan of their member, Yuki Minase. He became absorbed by GEM247's culture, taking trips to the Tokyo Dome to watch their senbatsu, fanatically voting for his beloved Miki-chan to be ranked in elections, buying merchandise of the girls - everything. When meeting his beloved idols, he often brings them gifts pertaining to Okinawan specialties. He started singing at this point and joined the school's light music club where he played various small percussion instruments and sang, a light of people noting his similar voice style to SUPER☆RANGERS' Sakura Hitori. After graduating, and with the encouragement of his teachers, Bunei applied to Todai (Tokyo University), the most prominent college in the nation. And much to the surprise of everyone around him, he was accepted. He currently lives alone in a small apartment outside of the city and works as a tutor for middle schoolers preparing for high school entrance exams.
