While watching Japanese game shows with my mom, I've always noticed that they have celebrities guest starring on their shows. From pop stars and idol groups to models and actors, allowing celebrities on to shows does not only boos the show's rating but also the guests' popularity.
The geniuses who frequent in the CBox tossed the idea around and built upon it, I only came in halfway through, ahaha. So all credit goes to them!
I would also like everyone's help to pitch in ideas for games, possible rewards for the game's winners, when the event should take place and so on.
I was hoping that this event could happen multiple times during the RP and last for about a week.
So yes, suggestions can be placed in the comments! And since v5 has a like system, we could swing with that and add a poll in when needed.
I would like to hear everyone's inputs on this idea! Thanks for reading!♪

After said conversation, I ended up doing a little research, and I stumbled upon Muchaburi Dodgeball. Here's a link for one of the videos of it. In summary, idols play dodgeball against each other, and if they're hit, they have to do a punishment game of some sort, like eating a strange, exotic meal, do something embarrassing in public, have weird make-up applied, handle something gross or perform under circumstances like being dizzy. It seems like it'd be a lot of fun if it can be adapted - IC chat would be easy due to the speed it allows, although it could work as a forum thread where a random participant is declared to have been 'hit' and must write a post about the according punishment. In Character Epic Mafia and Board Game Online are also fun, and they allow the players themselves to actually play a game while roleplaying. Some other ideas are quiz games and word association games like Cards Against Humanity, or perhaps even an interview game disguised as Truth or Dare - answer a possibly embarrassing question or do a challenge. Either way, I really like the idea of idols playing games with each other, and I hope that punishments games get included since it's fun to see them endure something they'd rather not.

I really like Yuki's ideas C: There's a show in Australia called RocKwiz and maybe we could do something similar with our idol groups and say that it's "AiDORU" themed for the approaching competition. Basically there would be a host, a scorer (who could be NPCs) and two teams of three or four idols (who don't necessarily all have to belong to the same idol groups) and they would then compete to answer as many music-themed questions as possible. These trivia questions could be based on Idol groups or facts about individual Idols and whichever teams ends up answering the most questions correctly at the end of the show receives a cute tiny trophy. And after ad breaks the show resumes with short solo or duet performances by members of each team. Another idea I had was inspired by Graham Norton's show Would You Rather ... In it there would be four celebrities (Idols, their Managers, etc) and a TV host, and there would be five rounds where in each round the celebrities would be ask a "what if" question, often cringe-worthy yet humorous, and the celebrity with the most unique answer would receive five points. One of the five rounds is audience-themed where five members of the audience are asked a particular "what if" questions where only one of the five gives a response that is different to the other four and the celebrities have to figure out who out of the five that is. At the end of the five rounds points are tallied up and a winner is announced.

I'm really liking these ideas so far! I'll be sure to add them to a list! So is there any possible week that you guys want to toss out there? I'd like to know what time and when would be the best with everyone considering the time zones and our own personal schedules and such. C: And a punishment game must be included. |D I spent a whole day watching Gaki no Tsukai once. In this one batsu game, spanking is their punishment if they laugh. ;;

I think something along the lines of Friday, Saturday, or Sunday would be decent since those are days where people are generally off of work or out of school. From my point of view, it seems things are a little more active at night (especially around 10 P.M. or 12 A.M. in Pacific or UTC-8 as that is the time zone I'm in) so around that area is where the event could take place since most people on online during those times. But these are just some things I've notice and thought about.

So far, I have absolutely adored everything that you guys have come up with so far, and I'm super excited to start all of this fun! But I know for almost certain that this Friday is out for the most part, as well as half of Saturday -I have a friend over then-, but any other day would be great, especially in the evening. I hope that this will be great fun, and I can't wait to start lots of interactions with other characters- as well as lots of laughs!~

bump even though it's an announcement because we need more times and suchhhh
i'm also gonna put this out there:
the time zone i live in is EST, so i am GMT -5.
majority of the time, i would have access to a laptop during more reasonable time for everyone else
Next Thursday (August 1) until August 17-ish, I'll be out of town so I don't know how often I'd be able to pop in.
Ugggghhhhh I honestly don't want to stay that long so I'll definitely try to come in as often as I can.

Thank you for using GMT/UTC - it seems like every online game or whatever uses US time zones, so I have no idea what they're talking about . Mine's UTC +10, and I'm usually on all day, except for times where I've organised to do something. Normally I'd have Uni, but I'm not starting my Masters until next year, so it'll depend on whether I manage to find employment or start a college course on teaching English as a second language.

you probably already know how much i support this event and I wish i could offer some interesting/new ideas for the event but sadly i don't have any. i'm not very creative with these things. orz.
i already posted about how i'm gonna be busy for the next few days but when i'm done with all that stuff, i should be free at any time except from 2 am to 1 pm est. that is if we are doing the game show thing in the icbox, or going to some of the other suggested sites to do that.
also, since you're gonna be busy during the 1st to the 17th, maybe we should host the event until after you're back? plus we still have the waterpark event going on right now and that long time should allow everybody enough times to wrap things up.
also, i'm gonna be starting school again next month though it won't be for a bit. if the event does happen at the time that i start school then i won't be able to get on during a majority of the morning/day. afternoons and nights should be free.

Ah, well if you guys are okay with it being pushed back then I'm all for it. (: Though I really don't mind if you guys do it while I'm away.
It'll give us more time to organize and such~. and boy i sure do love to organize~!! To me it seems that 8pm-ish to about 1am-ish is the busiest. For my time zone (GMT -5) at least.
