PERSONALITY Cold and unfeeling, a man of few words. He simply doesn't care about much that happens around him, unless it affects his studying, or the rare times he shows emotion during his photography. When he's focused on something, he's very persistent and won't spare his thoughts somewhere else. Min-Jae can get impatient and annoyed if people interfere with his work.
Starting a conversation with him usually consists of him poking at people's insecurities and flaws, and that causes most people to dislike him. Min-Jae can't really help but be blunt about things, it's really the way he was brought up. He's also painfully honest, so don't expect him to sugarcoat anything.
If you crack his outer shell, you'll find that Min-Jae is shy, and maybe just a little self-absorbed. He's been described as anti-social, but denies this as at times, Min-Jae doesn't feel the need to talk, and frankly he finds that being a lone foreigner in a sea of natives can be intimidating.
You may find that Min-Jae is quiet, but it's more because of his upbringing than anything else. His mother went by the philosophy that "children should be seen, not heard."
HISTORY Min-Jae was born in Korea to a fairly normal household, one a little less wealthy than he would've liked, but he experienced happiness during his younger years. He had an older brother, Min-Ho, who was deemed a failure by their parents for delving into the realm of music. Because of constant complaints from their parents that Min-ho was a failure, Min-Jae decided to make his parents proud, he would study hard and become rich to provide his parents with the lifestyle they never experienced.
Min-Jae's number one priority became studying. He felt that he had to make up for his unsucessful brother (Min-Ho never did break into the industry), and get into a good university. Perhaps it was because of that that Min-Jae began to have a growing hatred of idols. On one side, he resented his brother for not picking a good career, on the other hand he hated the music industry for rejecting Min-Ho and sending him in a downward spiral of alcoholism, drugs, and debt.
Because of his perseverance, Min-Jae managed to score number one in exams all senior year, and graduated at the top of his class. However, the sacrifices were great. Min-Jae was dirt-poor, had no social life, and had to figure out a way to get into a good university.
He decided to take a gap year and managed to scrounge up enough money to go to Japan. Min-Jae fell in love with the country and as his year was drawing to a close, he decided to study abroad in Japan to become a doctor.
Now almost twenty-one, Min-Jae works hard at his studies, going out on the weekends to pursue his hobby of photography. He still has an almost non-existent social life, but that's okay for him.
APPEARANCE Tall, and on the skinny side, though not the anorexic skinny that idols seem to be these days. Min-Jae is pale from days spent studying indoors, his outdoor time consists of going out to the closest nature preserve or park and taking pictures. His dark-blue hair is tied back in a ponytail somehow without using a hair tie, and he has deep gray eyes that seem to be devoid of any unnecessary emotion.
His usual attire is his trademark black motorcycle jacket or long coat with gray scarf, crisp white shirt, and dark colored pants. He alternates between his beat-up sneakers and brown loafers. There seems to be almost no variation to his closet, except when the weather gets warm, he wears a plain white v-neck or some other such type of shirt, jeans, and sandals.
OTHER FEATURES Nezumi has a small scar on his finger from a small knife accident.

He has an above-average IQ, and being the hard-worker he is, could have skipped a grade in school if he wanted to.
