So what was she doing here again? Hikaru looked around the empty room. Something about practice was it? She had gotten a text that read, "6:00, practice." There wasn't anyone here. She couldn't be...early. No no no, that was not possible. At all. After all, it was almost half past six, and she'd already gotten here at almost 6:10. Besides, Akane-chan or somebody else would have been here by now, and there was no hint of anybody in the building.
The brunette shivered slightly. Scary. But maybe not as scary as Manager-kun sometimes~ "Gah!" Hikaru stomped her foot like an angry child. She gave up and ended up sitting on the floor instead. Curse Manager and his cheapness, there wasn't even a single chair in the room...
Hikaru scooted up against the wall and leaned up against the plaster. The girl pushed a loose strand of hair behind her ear and tugged on her pigtails. Too long, too long! When was anyone going to get here? She took her phone out of her bag and started playing Tetris. After a few minutes of mind-numbing boredom, Hikaru sighed and threw her phone against the wall. It bounced back, the screen slightly cracked. 'Yeah, I don't know why I did that...' Moment of rage gone, she slumped down to the floor and tried to catch a few minutes of shut eye.

He hated when people simply couldn't make up their minds. If you can't make quick decisions you may as well just have someone who can do it for you. At least then people wouldn't be left waiting. Alone. In their office. At six o'clock. Then again, he couldn't think of any place he would rather be. He always found his office rather relaxing, a place of security. Dimmed lights, no windows, a shotgun waiting in an open drawer, and a glass of whiskey in his hand. This was how he spent many relaxing nights. Of course, when he was there by choice he wasn't waiting on some indecisive bozo. He couldn't help but grimace as he glanced towards his cellphone, raising his glass to his lips and swiftly drinking it down. Eyes stayed closed for a moment, shoulders. Rather than relaxing, he felt like he was wasting time. As he sat in silence, frowning at his phone as he poured himself another glass. Fresh glass in hand he dropped in a few cubes of ice from a small bucket on the desk. The crackling of the ice as it hit the liquid caused him to relax once again, leaning back in his desk chair. This didn't last long, as he heard a sudden sound, like something plastic hitting against a wall. Furrowing his eyebrows he shut and locked his shotgun back in the drawer. Phone was stuffed in his pocket as he made his way out to the practice room. Once he arrived, he quickly scanned the room, noting the resting Hikaru and the cracked phone. Eyelids instantly lowered as he stood in the doorway, leaning to rest his shoulder against the frame. He was already having a hard enough time relaxing, the last thing he needed was this girl with a broken phone. At least she wasn't complaining about it. Yet. He watched her for a moment, frown persisting as he looked over the room once again. What was she doing here alone? And why would she throw her phone? A few theories went through his head, none of them good. The one that stuck out most was the 'boy was supposed to meet her here and canceled on her'. Sure it was the worst case scenario, but it was still possible. Suddenly he spoke, raising his voice a bit to make sure he caught her attention. "What are you doing here?" He paused, turning his head to stare at the phone. "And why did you throw your phone?"

Was it too much to ask for a few moments of silence? No, Hikaru supposed not. She opened one eyelid to check who it was. 'Yeah, that's-' The brunette almost nearly jumped into the air with wide eyes.
"...M-MANAGER-SAN?!?" Wait, of course it wouldn't be much of a surprise that he would be here, though Hikaru was expecting someone like her dance instructor to leap out of the shadows and start ordering her around. "RIGHT STEP SPIN AROUND CROUCH DOWN AND POSE." The sheeP leader shuddered at the memory. As much as Hikaru hated her dance instructor, she had to admit she was good at what she did, although the woman did have some...unorthodox methods. But however much scary her dance instructor was, Manager-san could be worse. Much, much worse. The kind of worse that made you want to cower in the corner and hide under a blanket. Ah, yeah that was an embarrassing experience. She scratched her head absent-mindedly as she heard Manager's question.
Hikaru scowled, but a few seconds later her mouth dropped and her eyes narrowed. "W-what am I doing here? Are. You. Kidding. Me?" she responded, face darkening. The brunette pawed around for her phone and planted it right in front of her manager's face. "I got a text that said to come here at six and-"
Hikaru glanced momentarily at the screen. "Goddamnit. She turned even more visibly angry. "And I threw my phone, I mean, my now broken phone because I was mad. And tired. And frustrated. Okay?"
Maybe she should have shown a little more respect, but she was tired and wasn't feeling in the mood to show some more courtesy. Hikaru was trying to let her anger out a bit, but she had a feeling she'd regret it. ___________________ -> tag you're it: kaz notes:

Kaz rose a brow at the girl, somewhat surprised by her sudden shift of expressions. Clearly the girl was frustrated at something more than just his question. At least that was the only logical conclusion. Then again, logic seemed to have very little to do with anything when dealing with idols. Not a word was spoken as the girl went on her rant. Expression remained consistent all the while, simply looking at the phone as it was shoved in his face. Gaze slowly drifted from the device to the girl holding it, expression clearly conveying high levels of unamusement. A hand was lifted to gently push the phone aside, eyes still locked on Hikaru. Oh how this girl always seemed to dig herself deeper. He could already feel one of his lectures coming on, but he already knew what that would devolve into. "What the hell was that?" His voice remained calm and steady as stood straight, no longer leaning against the door frame. He paused to let out a small sigh, arms folding across his chest. Perhaps he was trying to draw out some suspense to mess with Hikaru's head. Or maybe he was just giving her a chance to realize what she had just done. "First off, I have every right to ask what you're doing here. If your reaction to seeing me means anything then I would guess you didn't know what I was here. So what would a teenage girl be doing here at this hour alone? The problem is that there's too many possible answers. And before you get defensive, know that I would have the same suspicions about anyone else. I don't trust track records." Kaz stepped forward, moving to snatch the phone from the girl's hand. Should she not pull away he would hold it up to his face, examining the cracked screen. It still seemed to be working at least, and such simple damage wouldn't be too hard to have repaired. "Secondly, you should know better than to speak to me like that. Especially when your phone is going to need repairs. Repairs I'm guessing you don't plan on paying for."Focus returned to her once again, eyes narrowing as he held out the phone. "Don't speak to me like that again. And the next time you shove your phone in my face it'll get a lot more than just a cracked screen. Understood?" "Worlds Best Manager" LAIKA OF GANGNAM STYLE!

"Whatever," she muttered, clearly still indignant. She cleared her throat before continuing, taking back her phone and stuffing it back in her pocket haphazardly. "And I'm...surprised, for lack of a better word that you're the one that doesn't know why I'm here," Hikaru spat out venomously, pacing back and forth restlessly. She took out her phone again and double-checked the sender of the message. "After all, you're the one that messaged me that I would have another practice. Besides, you manage my schedule..." she finished, stopping to a standstill and crossing her arms. ”And of course I would be surprised to see you here, I believed one of my instructors to be expecting me,” she added triumphantly.
She stared at the floor, head slightly bowed, an annoyed expression clearly plastered on her face. Hikaru was making no attempts to hide her irritation. A long silence followed. She knew what would happen. He’d give her a lecture, threaten her a bit, she’d whine about it then apologize, and all would be well. At least for a short while. And then the cycle would restart. The brunette sat down on the floor, legs crossed, and looked up defiantly. Obviously, since practice didn’t look like it was going to happen, why couldn’t she just leave? There was no point in staying anymore… Oops. She had said that out loud. ”…Ahaha. Forget I said anything,” Hikaru fired out quickly, previous expression disappearing to be replaced by one of slight fear.
She inwardly sighed, and lectured herself about how she was making another lecture even longer, courtesy of her favorite manager. Her only manager. And one that couldn’t be exactly called her favorite, as she seemed to get on his bad side all of the time? Ah, whatever~ She could only prepare for what was to come~ Just to hope that he wouldn’t terminate her contract and throw her out on the streets but that would be a worst case scenario. If Hikaru was like any other normal, sane, polite, person, she would go on her knees and beg for forgiveness at her unbelievable rudeness and that would he please forgive her and that she would never do it again (though she would do it again)?
Hikaru laughed at herself. But not out loud, so she wouldn't seem crazy. Of course she wouldn't do that. She wasn't sane, remember? She lived to get her manager riled up and for him to practice lecturing at her. There was no chance at all that she would beg for forgiveness. Wait, scratch that. Unless he said that he was going to fire her. Yeah, begging for forgiveness at that instance would probably be the logical idea. If she didn't want to lose her job and source of money for say, the next couple years? And that was being optimistic. It'd be great if sheeP did last that long, but Hikaru did know that the average lifespan of an idol group was five years? Why was she thinking about all this anyways? She should be worried about the future of her job right?
