Bunei Amuro, or Bunny as his friends affectionately call him, is simply a really nice guy. The Okinawa native arrives everywhere with a smile, his naive attitude and kindness giving him a childish aura despite his age. To many, he comes off as an immature idiot with an arsenal of bad jokes, but much to their surprise he's one of the top engineering students at Tokyo University. He currently tutors middle schoolers, earning him profits to care for himself and purchase an embarrassing amount of GEM247 merchandise.

He's pretty bad at Japanese despite growing up in Japan. Sometimes Okinawan slips into his speech and he uses the wrong kanji / katakana for things.

Pretty much anyone who can put up with Bunei's childish antics and energy is fit enough to be his friend. He's a loyal companion who will be more than happy to carry out any favors. But he's not the best at keeping secrets... He loves GEM, maybe his new friend will, too?

Bunei has dated a few girls growing up but always failed to hold up his end, too simple to ever feel anything romantic. However, he has been getting better at it becoming an affectionate boyfriend. The lucky girl can expect plenty of fluffy love - from holding hands, thoughtful gifts, and an overall gentle kindness.

He has a bad habit of speaking his mind - in fact he rarely thinks outside of class period - and his chatter mouth personality can get pretty annoying. He relied on acceptance growing up, taking that away from him would hurt the most. He's sensitive to insults but won't hesitate to pack a punch when he has to.

Part of me is trying to decide whether or not Youta would feel up to taking online classes to try and finish university. He dropped out after a year by deciding not to go back to Yonsei. However, I think having someone offer to help tutor him might give Youta some more confidence? Would Bunei be up for that? I'm not sure how these two would have met, but Youta is a freelance pianist and it's possible that he would be willing to play accompaniment music for Bunei if needed for covers in return?

I'm just throwing ideas at you so if you don't like them, please let me know! We can always discuss some other plot ideas.

Let's see here... Maybe Bunei came across Youta studying for something in a cafe? He'll come up all, "Hey, you look troubled! You need some help?" And just take a seat right next to him invading his privacy and all, ahaha.

Or maybe Youta could be wandering around the school debating on whether or not he should enroll? not sure if he'd do this but

And Bunei would notice him and be like "Hey, are you lost? Let me give you a tour~!!" and before Youta could even reply he'd be dragged around the school

I think it could work if Youta was studying in a café and looking over sample questions for an entrance exam, trying to figure out if he wanted to give it a shot or not. Youta wouldn't mind having his privacy invaded tbh, he'd actually be really grateful about it. Would they be strangers upon this meeting or would they be familiar with one another? I think if they're strangers but eventually did arrangements together, it might be possible that Bunei asked what he did in his free time and Youta explained that he was a freelance pianist?

Bunei is still a bit new to the area is two years new idk so he probably wouldn't know everyone just yet.

but with bunei's "im never going to stop bothering you ok" attitude, the two will get to know each other really well really fast. ;;

Youta only recently moved into the area as well, so it makes sense for them to start off as strangers. I'm actually away on a trip as well and won't be home until the 11th, so my posting will be irregular as well. I'd be fine with starting the thread though, and I'll tag you in it once it's up?
