Aime listened as Yuki described her tastes on anime. Ah, yes, moe. It really was everywhere nowadays--Aime personally thought it started with the release of the Puchim@s! iDOLM@STER anime, since you really can't get much more moe than that--but Aime didn't mind that. She had always liked cute things like small animals, maid costumes, or even a cute couple that brushed noses or went in for a quick smooch every once in a while. "Oh, yeah...I really love to watch stories come to life. My favorite part has always been the voice actors...I mean, if you're going to provide the voice for a character, it should be believable! Scream like you mean it! Cry like you mean it! Laugh like you mean it! Isn't that how it should be?" Aime nodded decisively. "Although you're right about the moe-overload, I kinda like cute things, so I guess I don't particularly mind. Still, I tend to watch older anime instead of picking up a new one."
"That's quite wise, of you, Yuki-chan," Aime stated after listening to Yuki's feelings on shipping. Yes, it's what's in the heart that matters! Who needs a canon confirmation? "I don't understand why more people don't read CLAMP...well, I mean, they are a very popular group, but it feels like I don't know as many people who read or watch their stuff as I'd like to. Still, I can add you to the list now, Yuki-chan! Ah, and...you should definitely watch The iDOLM@STER. It is awfully popular, but it's a good show. There's even a character with the same family name as you; Minase Iori. My personal favorite is Takatsuki Yayoi, though. She's so cute and energetic, and she never gives up. The characters are all so lovable, you can't help but want to see more of them! It really is interesting to watch from an idol's point of view, though..."
Aime smiled and laughed a bit, quite aware of the fact that wanting to be a goddess is...far-fetched, to say the least. Still, so was wanting to be a magical girl. They both had some pretty embarrassing dreams. Fun, lovely dreams, but embarrassing nonetheless. "It's a little weird, but it's the truth. But yes, to be rich! That'd be so much fun! You'd never have to worry about food, or running out of things to do, and you could go to all the concerts in the world!" Aime was very aware that being an idol at a concert was near pointless; if you wanted to listen to music, you could sing some yourself. But there were a few other idols and singers whose voices far surpassed Aime's own vocal talent--Yuki was one of them, Aime thought--and the brunette would love to go see one of them in concert.
Aime smiled at the fact that Akira had managed to learn her name. She always liked it when employees knew customers by name. It showed that they had interest in their customers, not just the money that came with having a job. She grinned and placed her anime DVD of choice on the counter. "Hello, Akira-san! I would like to purchase this DVD, please. And, if it's alright, I was wondering if I could place an order for the other seasons." Aime had been taught to be polite to adults. It was the least she could do to thank them for existing before her. Not that that made sense to anyone but Aime.
((Ten-thousand apologies for being so late! I hope this rather long post makes up for it.))

Ready to Rock The voice actors were definitely a big thing. It was part of the reason why she wanted to become one. Yuki had even practiced a bit at home whenever she had time. Perhaps her manager would give her a chance to indulge in her dream while she was here, but until then she would have to do what she could on her own. It was hard work, since unlike actors, you had to convey all expression with only your voice, but it looked like Aime got it herself, even if this wasn't something she was striving for herself.
She seemed to pay attention a bit more closely when her family name was mentioned in reference to a character. Maybe it was weird, maybe it wasn't, but the girl was always curious about characters who shared her name, or perhaps other similarities. Maybe it was just something that helped her get attached to them faster, even though it really didn't mean anything. Kanon had a character in it whose name was almost identical to her own, though she was nothing like her. "Ahh, the determinator-type! Heart and passion! They're always endearing. What about Minase Iori? What's she like? Sounds like Yayoi is similar to me, though."
As they talked about the power of money, Akira rang up the DVD. "OK, that comes up to 6,270 yen. And that won't be a problem - just give us your phone number and we'll let you know when it is in stock. We don't need a deposit, though you can pay off some of it now if you'd like. Just keep in mind if you don't pick it up within a week we may put it up for sale." Akira dutifully let her know of the store's policy, before switching topics. "So, you work with Miki, right? Have you ever caught her in some sort of embarrassing or compromising situation? Promise not to tell." Yuki started to go red. "Hey, Akiiii-saaaan~! You can't just go asking her something like that straight away!" The woman gave a low chuckle. "Why not? I just did. So? Any funny stories?" She probably would keep quiet about any sort of idol gossip, as she was a friend, but it didn't make things any better! | ► Been distracted - sorry! poke me if this happens again~! You can make up a story if you like.
