dance to the beat Fujiko didn't feel the nerves that usually began to eat at other idols when they got to a day before a performance. Her stomach didn't have the fluttering butterflies about stepping in front of thousands of people all cheering for Afternoon Delight. In fact, She couldn't wait to take a step onto that stage and start dancing with the others on that stage and singing with them all.
It was always nicer to have the other members singing and dancing with her, which is why she found herself in such a good mood today as the group had just finished rehearsal for the show.
Fujiko stepped out of her dressing room wearing a tank top with an over jacket with short sleeves and jeans, planning on going home after going by a cake shop that she had been hearing a lot of good things about. With her thoughts on food, she walked with a grace that could only be found in dancers. She passed some people she worked with before and waved, saying hi before continuing on her way out of the building. When she reached the door she reached into her bag to find her phone.
To her surprise, she didn't have her bag over her arm. She let out a sigh, she must have left it in her room. She laughed a bit thinking that she had been so caught up in getting cake that she had completely went over her bag with her money in it. So Fujiko headed back to her dressing room and fetched her bag.
With it over her arm, she closed the door to her room and let out an airy sigh and began to head out of the building again but this time she saw a familiar face before she reached the door. Short blonde hair, and a petite. Ayano-san. She would be able to place her anywhere. So Fujiko decided that she would invite her teammate with her to the cake shop.
Cake was good when you were alone but it was always better when you had someone to eat it with. So She called the other girl and waved while heading over to her. "Ayano-san!" | ► AYANO |

something is wrong with the sum of us that i can't seem to erase how i can i be the only one without a smile on my face Ayano was someone who tended to bet herself pretty worked up over her performances, especially since half of the time she goes up on stage to sing or do whatever it is that she is doing, she is the only one up there, just her and the lights. Nothing made her more nervous then stepping onto a stage with a full crowd of people up there, hoping and expecting to be amazed by the thirteen year old. But, for sure, allot of energy went into the practice, and part of the reason she puts that energy into it is because of her fear of not being able to perform well enough to rival the other girl's standards, as well as the standards that the crowd expects from such a young girl, who is always advertised with 'more talent then any thriteen year old'. Though this wasn't in any way true, she wanted to perform in a way that told the fans, or even someone who is not a fan that this is Ayano, the most talented thirteen year old out there, and she is good, she is gold! But the last few days, she had to admit, she wasn't feeling like gold....
The tawny-haired girl wanted nothing more then to just crash on a couch for a day or two, or maybe even hybernate for the remaining part of the season, she was that exhausted. Though not at all realizing it until awhile back, Ayano had completely worn herself out to the point that she sometimes couldn't even perform the most basics of dances without panting or nearly fainting. She of couse practiced by herself for the most part, in her own small dance studio provided at the same place as the others practice, so she could keep her exhaustion secret from the others, at least for now. But the world would now that the flame had blown out of Ayano Takagaki at her next performance, which was just coming up tomorrow. Unless she could do something about it, but what was she to even do?
Feeling pretty much lost and frustrated, Ayano stepped out of her studio wearing a light blue leotard with black dancing shoes and a white towl slung around her neck. She was sweating like you wouldn't believe, and even her short light colored hair, though up in a high ponytail, was damp. She headed over to the bathroom to cover her towel in ice cold water, slapping it on her neck once again, and eventually, she felt a bit better. Panting, face red with exhaustion, she stepped into her dressing room, coming back out a moment later with a pair of baby pink shorts with a white line down teh sides of them, and a plain white tanktop, a baby pink vest on over it. She slipped on a fair of white sandals, and grabbing her bag, headed out the foor, gulping down a water bottle as she travelled. Today, Ayano knew she needed to throw some more practice in, but she was already really busy, and had no idea how she was to practice, do her shopping, as well as relax a bit all before the day ended. Perhaps she would just need to skip the relaxing then. It wasn't that imprtant, was it?
Stepping out into the sunlight, Ayano took in her surroundings, which more or less consisted of people, side walk, trees, and more people. Your basic street that you would find anywhere in town. It was completely basic in every single sense, except for one. This street had a Fujiko walking on it. Hoping that the purple haired idol wouldn't notice Ayano's peresence, she tried her best to blend in with the crowd of other people who were travelling to wherever. But with Ayano's luck, and with all of the people mumuring "Tayano" as they looked straight past her, she was caught in a second by the other member of Afternoon Delights. "Ayano-san!" Great, so now she was caught in public by her, giving her even less freedom then if she ran into her in the studio, which would have been a bit better. Time to put on her Tayano face, again. "Ohaiyo Fujiko-senpai!" Tayano called to the other member, waving her arms, but soon tiring from that, and so she stopped.
Why did she feel like today was going to be a long day? It probably was, she could sense it. 773 words, made by akemi of btn |

dance to the beat Fujiko brightened when she saw Ayano wave back to her. She stepped up to her and took in her fellow members appearance. A look of concern flashed across her face but she smiled through it. "Ayano-san, how'd your rehearsal go?" She asked it in a friendly manner but anyone could tell that she was truly wanting to know if she was okay. The concern on her face, even when she tried to hide it behind a smile was pretty evident. She would have flat out asked the other idol if she had recently been hit by a train but with so many people around, she wasn't sure that would be an appropriate thing to ask.
For a moment, she wondered about the 13 year old in front of her. The girl was far younger than her, and Fujiko couldn't help but think that there was a lot more pressure on her to perform than there was on herself. For a moment she felt a flash of sympathy but that was quickly replaced with other thoughts, like her stomach growling unusually loud.
She turned red and gave an awkward light laugh, rubbing the top of her head. "I was about to go to this cake shop I've heard a lot about and I was wondering if you would like to come? I heard that their cake is supposed to brighten your day and invigorate you so it must be a good idea to have one before tomorrow."
She didn't know why she had to say all that but she said it. Fujiko didn't want to come off as saying that the girl in front of her looked less than happy, even when the girl had a smile on her face. But if Fujiko could tell that something was wrong, then there had to be something wrong. So the purple haired idol found herself wanting to become this other idols anchor.
Fujiko decided right then that Ayano was going to be her close friend, and that right now she needed a pick-me-up in the form of a sugary baked good! So without really waiting for an answer, she took the other girls hand and without much force, she guided her down the street.
"Ayano-san, I saw you at rehearsal today and it seems to me that cake is exactly what you need! If anything you should take a breather before tomorrow, that's what I plan on doing!" She talked mostly to keep the younger girl from protesting. If she did speak up in protest though Fujiko would simply smile and keep on trudging along with the reluctant 13 year old in tow. | ► AYANO |

something is wrong with the sum of us that i can't seem to erase how i can i be the only one without a smile on my face Ayano looked over at the other idol from Afternoon Delights, trying to keep her face as perky as possible, despite the fact that she was fighting herself to stay awake, at this point. But all the same, and for everyone's sake,s he decided on simply soldiering on, or at least for a little while. Fuji looked at Ayano with a smile, walking up to her. The younger idol, as she normally did whenever she happened to run into the other, would always stare at her long, lavender hair with bright, wide eyes, as she so did today. It was always something of interest to her, as well as one of the [many] features of the idol that made the younger one very jealous. All that she had were these simple brown eyes, and a mop top of tawny colored hair. But all the same, she wasn't here to chat about about hair or eyes, and after a moment, Fuji cut to the chase, after a slight moment of aimless chit-chat, however. "Ayano-san, how'd your rehearsal go?" Fujiko asked the young girl, with much concern in her eyes and over all expression. She supposed that despite the efforts that Ayano was giving into trying to be cheerful, the exhaustion in her still shone through quite a bit, Well, she supposed she needed to step her acting up a little bit. She definatelly didn't want anyone on her trail, constantly making sure that she was okay, and watching after her as if she was a young child. Obviously, she was not. She was thirteen, practically an adult! Well, maybe not,,,,
"Oh, It went pretty good!" Ayano beamed falsely, smiling at Fujiko with the exact same feeling as her tone would give you. "I may have just worked myself just a little bit toooooo hard today, but that's no problem!" She finished saying to Fujiko, giving her thumbs up near the end of her sentence, as if doing so would make the other girl feel more comfortable with her feeling okay. To be honest, it didn't go tooooo good, as she continued to slip up on the steps, but she didn't pass out, which in her book was preeetty dang impressive, tough Fujiko would beg to differ, if of course she knew anything, which sh hopefully didn't. This was after all, her own private practice, and she wanted to keep it that way, with no nosey idols getting in her way of her alone time. After that had been said, Fujiko at last went on to speak of an offer that she wanted to send out to the young idol, though she wasn't so keen on this herself. "I was about to go to this cake shop I've heard a lot about and I was wondering if you would like to come? I heard that their cake is supposed to brighten your day and invigorate you so it must be a good idea to have one before tomorrow." What kind of message was that supposed to send to her? Apparently, from what it sounded like, she must send out some sort of unhappy aura, despite the fact that she is trying quite to make it not so, She almost sighed out loud, but she managed to hold it up inside. She didn't really wish to partake in this cake shop trip, after all, cake was just this fluffy pile of sugar, and having stuff like that before a concert couldn't be good for you. Smiling lightly, Ayano just shook her head, opening up her mouth to say something. But of course, as usual, whenever she was about to decline something, be whatever it was, she was always cut off before she culd get one word in.
"Ayano-san, I saw you at rehearsal today and it seems to me that cake is exactly what you need! If anything you should take a breather before tomorrow, that's what I plan on doing!" Exactly what did that mean? Cakeis exactly what she needed? She didn't think that cake was what she needed, more like a balanced diet of protein and vitamins was what she needed, far more important then any sugary sweet. But all, the same, despite Ayano's mental plees to let her go, she was at this point of no return. Though she spent very little time with the other idol, she did spend enough time with her to know pretty well that when Fujiko had her heart set on something, she was going to be doing it, and you really couldn't stop her from going after it. With a mental sigh, Ayano let the older idol drag her along the streets, knowing that there wasn't anything she could really do about it, in the end. She guessed that a small slice of cake wouldn't be too horrible, right? 773 words, made by akemi of btn |

dance to the beat Fujiko wasn't sure if the young idol was speaking true, she knew well enough the signs of being tired. Such an expression was part of being an idol. An unavoidable side effect of working so hard to keep your fans happy and to appear happy yourself. So Fujiko decided to play as if Ayano was speaking the truth, her face of concern turning to a smile.
"Being an idol is a lot tougher than one would think! All the practice!" She sighed but the smile returned immediately followed by a playful wink.
She didn't notice the reluctance in the younger idol, as Fujiko was so caught up in her thoughts of the sweet cake that was said to brighten even the darkest day. If it were anyone else, they would likely see it was just a sales pitch and probably had no merit but Fujiko believed in it.
So the two, without any disguises, walked down the streets towards the cake shop. It wasn't very far and before long it came into view. She stopped when she saw it though. In front of the shop was a line of people trying to get into the tiny shop. Fujiko gasped in surprise then sighed in defeat.
"There's no way we'll get through that line before they close! And I really wanted that cake too..." Her face was one of utter defeat but she took in a deep breath before turning back to Ayano. "Maybe we can just go to that cafe and get some tea or something." She pointed to a nearly deserted cafe with large windows, their name in a cute font on the window.
From where they stood, Fujiko could only see a single man sitting at a table within so finding a place to sit would be a breeze. This time, however, she looked towards the tawny haired pre-teen for her response. Her face was a pout, as if she were the younger of them begging for some treat that she normally wouldn't get.
"It's at least better than standing outside for so long. My legs are still tired from all the dance rehearsals today."
By now, a few passerbys had glanced in their direction, and some even said their names out loud. Fujiko was used to this simply because it was hard to hide purple hair. It was her trademark but also her undoing. She couldn't go anywhere without being immediately recognized or questioned by older people on her choice of hair color. So Fujiko was anxious to get off the street soon. She didn't want a fan to come up and start talking to her with her legs aching as they were. | ► AYANO |

something is wrong with the sum of us that i can't seem to erase how i can i be the only one without a smile on my face Ayano, still not really all that up to going out and having a slice of cake, or any treat, at that matter, didn't really try as hard to stay chipper as she had done awhile before. As of right now, she would like nothing less then to relax in a tub for awhile, and then, as soon as she was to get dryed off, get her head back in the game, and work on her dance practice. This time, she wanted, no, needed to get it right. She was slipping up too much lately for her level of expertise and experience. If the people who watched her on stage noticed the bluntly obvious mistakes that she has made, it would be awful for her current reputation for one of the most talented young females in Japan. It could even possibly break it. But that wouldn't happen, or at least, she wouldn't let it happen to her. But all in all, there were a few things about the trip to the cake shop that could very possibly be benificial to her, though you might not think cake is a good thing for you, there are those times, though very rare, that having a sweet treat would be an okay thing, that could even maybe do you some good. For starters, Ayano could use the fuel, considering she hadn't eaten since breakfast, and that was just a quick protein bar, peanut butter flavored, as she usual had before heading off to her morning practice, so it would be a pretty good idea to have something that was full of well, 'energy', as Ayano liked to put it. Also, it wa perhaps good for her publicity to be going out in public to a place where people would gather, such as a cake shop.People would see how she liked to go out in public, and be a normal, real person, rather then just hide out and never go out in public without guards [though in all honesty, she didn't like going out in public]. It would show that she wanted to ger personal with her fans, by doing simple things that they themselves would do. So, she figured that it would be plenty okay to go to the shop, considering all the pros to going. What Ayano Takagaki had yet to realize was that there was more to it then that, or at least, there were more reasons that she wanted to go, some she didn't even think she would ever think to enjoy..
And so, there the two young, teenage idols walked, heading down the sidewalk that was layed ahead of them. Eventually, the two would be arriving at this said cake shop, and the two of them could barely contain their excitment as they were walking. Well, Ayano did wish that she could contain it better, as she obviously didn't even think that she wanted to eat anything sweet, or as unhealthy as things such as cake, and the frosting that was smothered on top of it- just plain awful when you considered their nutritional value. But all the same, she was inside quite gleeful about the whole thing, regardless of the fact that she wasn't going to let on to Fujiko any time soon about it. Soon enough, the two idols from Afternoon Delights would enter into the area where the nice big shop was, and quickly, the building came into veiw. Well, actually, you couldn't even see the buidling, as there were too many people for you to even be able to see the front door. A look of dissapoint quickly spread acorss the young tawny-haired girl's face though she quickly realized this fact, and went on to give her usual straight-faced stare. But for sure, Fujiko wasn't planning on hiding anything, as right away, as soon as they saw the lines, she angrily called out to her friend, "There's no way we'll get through that line before they close! And I really wanted that cake too..." She cried outloud, some other passer-byers giving the purple haired idol a strange look. She was obviously very, very upset by this, and Ayano could understand. After all, cake was a fine treat...she supposed, and it was a shame that they wouldn't be able to have any of it to eat today. She nodded, trying her best to stay in character, while not attracting eyes and ears to her and the other girl. "Yeah, this stiiiiiiiinks" The tawny agreed, saying this more quietly, but there still being the sound of disapointment in her tone. After that short rant the two went on, at the same time they looked around, in hopes of finding a possible plan 'B' that they could go for. Wondering if Fujiko had found the same thing that she had, Ayano looked over to her. At first, it didn't seem that she had, though a moment later, the girl turned to look back at Ayano. "Maybe we can just go to that cafe and get some tea or something." She offered, a smile creeping up on the other girl's face. Yes, that was what Ayano was hoping that she would say. Friskfully nodding her head, Ayano already began on her way across the street to the Cafe, looking back at the older girl. "Of course, let's go!" The tawny completely disregarded whatever it was that Fujiko had just said, as she was already on her way down to the Cafe. It was very obvious that many people had their eyes looking her and Fujiko's way, but she was too used to it, and didn't really care right now anyways. She was in character, and felt surprisingly alive being in it.
