Sekai ha nazo darake Ano sora honmono? Sekai ha hitoiro Okasenai watashi iro Aika sang to herself as she pulled the double chocolate snowquakes out of the oven. She looked at them and smiled and nodded her approval as she continued to sing to herself. She took a sponge to the bowl she had used, singing one song then another before finding all the dishes done. She took of her apron and hung it next to her mother's on the wall as she heard her brothers quarreling in the front room at the television playing the game station they had gotten for their birthdays, only 3 days apart. She called to them that she was leaving some of the cookies for them and they collectively cheered before returning to bickering about their fight on the tv. She just shook her head and went to her room to change out of her school uniform. She would have done so earlier bu when she walked into the building today she had seen movers moving in boxes and her mother left a note saying there was a new neighbor around her age and that she should say hello. So she found herself making cookies for them first thing. She changed into a simple skirt and a blouse before she returned to the kitchen and took the now cool enough cookies off the tray and onto two plates. She left half of the cookies on the counter and called that they were ready to her brothers before grabbing the other plate and heading towards the door. On the way she bumped into her brothers who thought that the plate she had was theirs, so they tried grabbing them. Aika lifted the plate above her head, waving them away telling them theirs were in the kitchen which sent them rocketing to the kitchen. With a sigh, Aika left the house and went to the door she had seen boxes go into. She took a deep breath and rang the door bell, chocolate cookies in hand. CODED BY ELECTRIC OF BACK TO NEVERLAND

BLACK TEARS, BLACK SMILES U know I’m wild and young for you Even after a long time passes I won’t change, I’m young and young for you yeah He wiped his hands on his plain black apron and placed a hand to his forehead. Min-Jae opened his oven and pulled out a fresh batch of double chocolate brownies. "Perfect," he muttered, lips curving in only what could be called a hint of a smile. About an hour ago, he'd made a nice chocolate cake only to find he'd overestimated and had some extra batter. So of course, he'd made some brownies. Very yummy brownies at that. Glancing at his reflection from the microwave, he frowned. Min-Jae wiped some flour from his face and looked around in the organized mess that was his kitchen. Now where was the hazelnut spread? Ah, there it was. He reached over a precarious pile of dirty dishes and snatched the jar of spread from the top cabinet. Finding a clean knife, he carefully spread a layer of hazelnut over each brownie. There, all done. Finally stripping off his apron, he threw it on a chair and put the brownies on a plate. He'd decided to be uncharacteristically social for a change and pay a visit to his new neighbor, hence, why he had baked the brownies. Besides, he had his cake, and the brownies were the result of leftovers that he didn't want to waste. Or eat, for that matter. The mess that was his kitchen would wait for later. He had a neighbor to meet. Min-Jae stripped off his now sweaty wifebeater (not to mention, it had a chocolate stain on it), and pulled on a plain white v-neck. His jeans were probably fine. Slipping into a pair of sandals, he grabbed the plate and maneuvered himself past a mess to the hallway. Min-Jae glanced in a mirror and patted down his hair before adorning some plastic square frames. He didn't have a prescription, but they did look stylish. At last, he kicked open his door, placed his keys in his pocket and started down the corridor. The man couldn't help but have second thoughts. Would it be too feminine to admit he had baked these brownies? He could always lie, no he was an honest man remember? Or he could always just leave them by the door... Lost in thought, he bumped slightly into another girl carrying a plate of cookies. "Ah. I'm sorry," Min-Jae murmured, one hand balancing the plate while the other was about to press the doorbell. Come to think of it, he vaguely knew that girl. Right, she was his neighbor as well. That explained why she was standing in front of their new neighbor's door with what looked like a gift too. A PARADISE FOR YOU AND ME there is no up or down here we all are standing together under the same exact sky Moving hadn't been particularly difficult for Youta, partially because he didn't have much to move in. The largest piece of furniture that needed to be moved had been the brown stand-up piano that his grandparents had gifted to him. It was the very first thing that he had given him, insisting that the instrument would help to make him feel a little more at home. That was why he'd considered himself lucky to have at least had somewhere to move into after his father had cut ties with him. He wished that he'd been right about that. Then, he wouldn't have been stuck in this unfortunate situation. Still, Youta had already decided that it was nice to have his own place, down-payment on the rent finally saved from his blood, sweat, and tears. "Please be careful with that!" Youta called after the movers who rolled their eyes as they gingerly set the instrument on the ground. Youta felt his heart leap as the instrument's feet finally touched the ground. It was, arguably, one of his most precious belongings. He gave the movers a small nod of affirmation, adding a, "Ah, thank you for your help! Is there anything I can get for you?" Not that he really had anything to give away, but it was all out of courtesy, tradition and whatnot. However, the piano had been the final piece of furniture moved into the small apartment building, and the movers were all gone in a rather orderly fashion. Youta sighed to himself as he sank into the beat-up couch he'd managed to get from a second-hand store. There were a few cardboard boxes littered here and there; he'd unpack his belongings after taking a short break. Except, he was not allowed any reprieve from the move-in as his doorbell rang. He blinked, brushing his bangs away from his face as he rose with a curious expression to answer the door. "Visitors?" he mused to himself. A young man and a young woman stood outside his door, each with their very own package of goods. "Can I help you?" he asked, tilting his head slightly to the side. Only when he realized that the two people had come to visit him did he push the door open slightly wider. "Ah, please, come in! I'm sorry about how messy the place is. I just finished moving in a few minutes ago."CODED BY ELECTRIC OF GANGNAM STYLE

Sekai ha nazo darake Ano sora honmono? Sekai ha hitoiro Okasenai watashi iro Aika tucked a strand of hair that was tickling her cheek back behind her ear. Before returning her hand back under the plate she held in front of her. She was finding herself a bit nervous about who would show up from behind the door. She was so caught up in that nervousness that the sound of a door closing and the footsteps of the approaching man didn't register with her although when the sound of his footsteps stopped, the absence caught her attention. She glanced over just in time to prep for him lightly bumping into her. "Oh, E-excuse me."
She didn't know why she excused herself when he was the one who bumped into her but she did just that. And he mumbled an apology. She blinked several times and gave a wondering look to her new door side partner. She knew he was a neighbor but not much else. He seemed a bit standoff-ish and not one you can easily approach so it was understandable that Aika didn't know much about him. She glanced at what was in his hands and her eyes widened. He had brought food too. "You brought f-"
Before she could finish, the door opened and her gaze fell onto well actually fell wasn't the right word either. Both of the men she found herself standing with were taller than her, not by much but enough for her to recognize it. She gazed at astonishment at the blonde haired and blue eyes guy in front of her. His coloring said foreign but she couldn't really tell. She blinked several times as he asked if he could help them. "Uh... Yes, My name is Hisaki AIka and I just wanted to bring you these as a housewarming gift and to welcome you to the apartment complex."
He then opened his door wider as if inviting them in. Then he confirmed what Aika thought by asking them to enter. Aika looked towards the man beside her before making a slight bow and entering, her plate still in her hands though she was sure that with the amount she brought and what it looked like he brought, there would be way too much for a single man. BLACK TEARS, BLACK SMILES U know I’m wild and young for you Even after a long time passes I won’t change, I’m young and young for you yeah Min-Jae raised an eyebrow, slightly surprised. Why would she apologize when he was the one at fault? Ah, well. His neighbor seemed to be staring at him and he smiled, a bit amused. "Is there something on my face?" he asked, his face rapidly resuming a blank expression. Besides that, why was it so surprising that he had brought food as well? Sure, he didn't normally interact with most of the other denizens in the building, but it wasn't so uncharacteristic of him was it? Waving a hand impatiently, he snapped, "Yes, yes, I brought food as well." The two were quickly interrupted by the timely arrival of the apartment's owner, who questioned why they were here, before inviting them inside. The dark-haired man was a little unnerved by how quickly his new neighbor had been to trust them. If it was him and he had moved into a new apartment, he'd be a little more skeptical about two strangers at his door. Then again, it was probably normal for this to happen and Min-Jae was the odd one out. His neighbor introduced herself as Hisaki Aika. Ah, so that was her name. Min-Jae hesitated for a moment before crossing the threshold and entering the apartment. He looked around. He had actually never seen the inside of anybody else's apartment before. Staring at the scenery, it looked mostly the same. 'And I thought I had a small apartment...' Shortly after, he realized he had forgot to introduce himself. He coughed quietly. "...I'm Lee Min-Jae. I live in this building as well." It came off as a little blunt and awkward, but it got the point across. The Korean fidgeted a bit. "This is just a little something I baked," he added, holding out the plate of brownies like a peace offering. "...I hope I'm not bothering you," he said politely. Aigoo, why was he getting all nervous now? It was only a friendly meeting, nothing more. CODED BY ELECTRIC OF GANGNAM STYLE

A PARADISE FOR YOU AND ME there is no up or down here we all are standing together under the same exact sky Under normal circumstances, Youta would have been thoroughly embarrassed by the haphazard state of his apartment. However, he was too relieved that everything had gone smoothly and nothing had been broken (yet) to feel bashful at all. His eyes remained trained upon Min-Jae for a moment, watching as the other man studied the area, appearing to be judging it quietly to himself. The apartment itself wasn't particularly impressive. It was relatively small with a single bedroom, one bathroom, and a kitchen attached to the living room. Definitely not anything for Youta to boast about. However, the apartment was entirely his, and he believed that this was enough to merit a bit of pride in him. It didn't belong to his parents, nor did it belong to his grandparents; it belonged to him. "Hisaki Aika, it's very nice to meet you," Youta said, giving Aika a friendly nod. His eyes lit up at the sight of the cookies. "Ah, thank you very much! I'll be sure to eat them and remember they came from you." Friendly neighbors were always a plus in Youta's book. He set the cookies down upon a low wooden table that stood in the center of the living room. A pair of flat cushions had been arranged underneath it to sit on. "Please, make yourselves comfortable," he said, gesturing for them to take a seat on the couch or the cushions. He glanced at Min-Jae now as the Korean introduced himself, giving him a nod as well, small smile still on his face. "Manna-seo bangawuo-yeo," (happy to meet you) he said, wondering if Min-Jae would catch on. "It isn't a bother at all. In fact, I'm glad to meet both of you." He took the brownies, setting them beside Aika's cookies. "It looks like a real celebration now, doesn't it?" he said contentedly. "I'd like to share these sweets with you as well though if neither of you have anywhere to run."etc: sorry for taking so long! I'm home finally, so I can post more frequently.
