SUZUKI SAYA
Can I believe it If it’s a dream
I won’t be hurting this much
While hugging the whitely lit you
If everything stopped like this
I won’t be hurting this much
While hugging the whitely lit you
If everything stopped like this

ESSENTIALS
PERSONALITY Loud, boisterous, and mildly obnoxious; Saya's the life of any party. Energetic to the point of being nicknamed the "Energizer Bunny." This fun-loving gal loves to be a tease and gets in trouble with all her crazy antics. However, when it gets down to it, she's a real slave driver and doesn't tolerate the word "no." Saya's the type to push push push.
When it comes to work, Saya is very dedicated. Not quite a workaholic, but she is studious. She's fairly intelligent, but has a bad memory and doesn't often remember people she's met. Saya's also narrow-minded and once deciding something, is stubborn as a horse. She's loyal to her friends without a fault and is a person who seems to attract people to her, like a magnet.
Often reckless, Saya jumps into things without thinking, making emotion-based decisions. She gets flustered easily, and can be rather testy. Her morals are a bit skewed sometimes, but Says usually begins things with good intentions at heart.
She loves jokes and doesn't take things at face-value. Can be oblivious at times and rather childish at other instances.
End of story.
HISTORY Born and raised in the midst of Tokyo, Saya had everything she could have ever wished for. She lived a privileged childhood, one filled with trips to theme parks, a whirlwind of parties, poofy dresses, and the color pink. All in all, she was a girly-girl. Her parents were wealthy enough to buy her anything she wanted, and what she wanted, she always got. No matter what the cost. Which could technically, explain her rather wayward sense of right and wrong. Her two older brothers were exposed to this as well.
Her whirlwind lifestyle went on for a while. Her mother died in a car accident which was revealed to be caused by her driving while high.
She. Woke. Up.
Woke up to reality. Gone were the days of not caring. In a fit of rage, she cut off her hair and adopted a boyish style. She didn't want anything to do with her mother, with her friends, with anything that showed her to be weak. Having attachments was weak. Being a girl was weak. She didn't want to have anything to with anything.
And then she entered junior high. She hung out with a bad crowd. She did all the things she swore to herself she would never do. Drink? Smoke? Take drugs? Yeah, she did that, and much more. Nobody knew anything. She'd only care about herself.
It was in the middle of her second year and something happened. There was this...guy. She didn't take much notice of him. He seemed like someone who'd fade in the background, who she usually wouldn't take pay attention to. A little after that, her teacher told her to go join a club because it was required to join one. Saya didn't care. She joined the club that she thought she wouldn't have to do anything in. She'd just attend the first meeting, blend into the background, take a quick smoke, and go leave. That didn't end up happening.
She had probably picked the worst club to join. The music club. They were short a drummer in their band, so she decided why the hell not? Turns out she was pretty good at the drums and lo and behold, the new guy had joined the music club too. Long story short, the band's lead singer sucked and everybody knew it, they just didn't say anything. Saya would have said something, but she didn't want to get kicked out of the club that maybe, she was getting a little attached to. In a way, music was quickly becoming an essential part of her life.
So basically, the new guy (who's name she had found out to be Kurai) told their lead singer that he was a terrible singer. And that he had a terrible personality. The Kurai guy left. And Saya was a little mad at herself that she should have said something earlier, but she also kinda looked up to this guy for doing something she couldn't. After that, she told the lead singer that she'd leave as well (though she admits she made a much more dramatic exit), and ran after the guy.
It was a crazy idea. She'd heard Kurai sing and thought his voice was way better than their lead singer and that they should do music together. And that was the start of a beautiful relationship.
She ditched her current crowd and started hanging out with Kurai. Eventually she gave up all of her old habits except smoking, which she still couldn't quite let go of. She quickly assimilated into her old circle of friends after begging for forgiveness and gained recognition as the "party girl." But through all of this, she's remained best friends with Kurai and they've always made music together.
That's how it all began.
APPEARANCE She's considered a little taller than average for a girl, and her lack of chest only explains even more why she's been mistaken as a male many times. Gifted with no curves at all, Saya looks like a prepubescent male in junior high.
Saya dyes her short hair constantly, favoring a brunette color, though she often switches to blonde every now and then. She has brown eyes framed with long eyelashes, and has a fairly pale complexion. At times she wears blue contacts.
Her usual attire consists of anything considered casual. In school, she wears a guy's uniform just to fool around with everyone. She's never worn a dress, or a skirt, and abhors wearing girly things (exception being when she was younger). Like the color pink.
OTHER FEATURES Her ears are both pierced, though she does have a double piercing on her left ear. Saya's also left-handed.

OTHER INFORMATION
TALENTS & SKILLS She was the drummer back in the music club's band, so Saya definitely knows what she's doing. Saya has a good sense of rhythm and improvises fairly well. She's good at covering up mistakes and making them seem intentional.
Saya's also an accomplished singer, with a naturally high and cute-sounding voice. She has a somewhat versatile range, able to hit some low notes.
ETCETERA She's a smoker, though she's been trying to get rid of the habit since it affects her singing long-term.
