PERSONALITY Playful, sweet, cute, and manipulative like you wouldn't even believe. He's been in the industry since he was a baby and has, over the years, soaked up all the tips and tricks to buttering up the adults like water to a sponge. He knows when to turn on the charm, turn off the charm, and has no problems with his self-confidence. Though, that in itself may be the problem - he's cute and he knows it very well. While under the spotlights he's the country's adorable baby brother, he's spoiled rotten and self-paced in his off time. He's not mean-spirited, but rather oblivious to how people are normally raised if not to treat him like a prince.
He adopts a very professional attitude at work - taking the time to go over dance routines and posing in front of the mirror every day - and is a notorious workaholic. Where he excels in physical talent, he lacks in academic ability as his work hours as a child often caused him to skip school. HISTORY Born to designer parents in the Ikebukuro area and as the only younger sibling of the popular child model 'Mana-chan'. He was adored since the day he was born, and most of his early childhood was spent in his mother's lap while watching his sister try on frilly dresses with excessive ribbon attachments. At the age of four, he followed in her footsteps and put on a victorian-style dress to become a female model; At first, he would be aside his sister, modelling for the 'Tiny Elephants' label, and later became a male model under the 'Dream Garden' brand. He grew up in the spotlight, learning to work the camera, time the flick of his jacket, and position his smile just so.
It wasn't without consequences, and there were three separate incidents in his childhood where he was kidnapped. After the third incident, he commuted to school less and got most of his education at the studios between photo shoots. After a karaoke session with some of the older models, he was recruited by one of their managers to become a trainee at Simple Apple Studios. He accepted the offer in hopes of making more friends around his age.
APPEARANCE Still in the middle of his growth period, the baby-faced Raiya stands at a modest 160 (He'll tell you 165 in interviews, though) centimetres with a petite build to contrast with his big personality. His blonde hair is longer than the average boy's and from his complexion and lack of calluses, it's apparent that he has been well cared for his entire life. He has bright sapphire eyes from his mother's side, and a cheeky grin that comes with self assurance.
COMMON WEAR C-O-L-O-U-R-F-U-L. Having worked as a child model for many years, Rai has a colourful fashion sense and is rarely ever seen in dark clothing during his off-time. He enjoys wearing a range of accessories - including bright buttons, ribbons and cute knick-knacks that could be considered effeminate. He likes loose and comfortable clothing and often sports a tiny ponytail when he's in the middle of anything requiring effort.
