▶ AiDORU Competition ( + update 8.13.2013)

Hello friends! I will be returning from my long trip early next week, whoo! So we might as well begin talking about the sites main event, the AiDORU competition, hm? C:

But before that, we have our wonderful Game Show Event that everyone has been waiting for! We could still use some ideas so if you'd like to toss them in or just check up on the event planning, you can visit this THREAD.

Then I also put up an OPEN THREAD TRACKER where we will store all of the open threads. If you happen to make one, post it there so others can come and join the fun!

As for the AiDORU competition...

What I originally had in mind was that we did a voting. The AiDORU competition is like AKB's election; we decide who the best group is, best male member, best female member, maybe even best couple. They stay in the awards section until the next competition date.

Those who are ranked highest are closer to being AiDORU's stars. Those who are ranked lower gets some form of punishment, maybe an unfortunate event that they have to work with. Or they could just get nothing at all, ahaha.

Any punishments or rewards you would like to throw in?
Maybe those who win in the Game Show events would get extra points that goes towards votes?
Any suggestions to help make the competition better?

Any ideas on when we should hold the competition?
Maybe it can start halfway through the Game Show event? Or maybe they occur at the same time?

I'm open to all ideas so toss 'em around! C:

Oh gosh, the competition is drawing near. Tho I know she wouldn't ever admit it, Ayano is super nervous XD

But anyways, I like your idea about maybe if you win some of the games, it go towards votes in the AiDORU competition. As far as punishments go, perhaps they lose some points, or maybe they have to dress in odd constumes for a part of the AiDORU event? XD I don't really know, but I think that there should be some sort of penalty, whether it be silly or not.

As with the time, I dunno if they should occur at the same time, there being people's schedules, and school starting and what not, I know that I wouldn't be able to do it myself. But let's see how it all works out.

ermmm, it'd probably be a good idea to display the amount of votes somewhere — though, that's probably a given. also i figure serving the "winners" in some way or another might...lead to some laughs

REGRETFULLY, I DON'T HAVE ANY ACTUAL FLESHED OUT IDEAS...

maybe...eat something really, really gross? and the losers have to feed each other with their bare hands whilst...half-naked? or, uh, they eat something really gross while blindfolded and with their hands tied behind their backs, so that they have to...lower their faces to the ground and...

yeah, can you tell that i'm really wracking my brain? LMFAO hopefully we can get to both of the events soon!!!!

I'd definitely like some sort of punishment for the losers of the AiDORU competition. Something fun for the players, and awkward for the characters. Standard variety show punishments work, like forcing them to do weird things in public, or something like that. I think it should take place halfway through or after the game show, though, since if it's on at the same time it could take attention away. I do have a question - how will voting take place? Players vote for personal favourites who aren't themselves?

I do like the idea of winning points for yourself or your group in the competition, though. Not something overwhelming, but something that can give you an edge. I don't think losers should lose points, however - I think they should get punishment games . If they lose points, then depending on how voting is done it could make it impossible for them to win, since they're down points while the winners are ahead.

I'd have to side with Yuki on this one! Decreasing points would probably be too much of a disadvantage... D;
But the costumes sound fun~
I was watching a special on my favorite band// and they had to dress up their leader in these strange outfits, ahahaha. it was unusually erotic but funny

ah, i understand. i think it's been decided that the game show event would start once i get back. it'll be in the ic chat and on outside game sites. it would be week long so hopefully you'd be able to attend some of them? C:
and the AiDORU copetition would basically be one main thread and voting so it's not not really too big. u v u )

And yeah, I would like for everyone to vote in the eyes of a fan. C:
They could ask themselves who their favorites are stage persona wise, maybe voice was, which group they like, etc.
So I guess in some cases, it may be themselves but it can't be helped?
Unless you guys want everyone to vote for those who aren't their characters.
I'm fine with either way.
