Thanks for the welcome! I was browsing the open thread tracker and saw that you had one there~. I considered jumping in, but in my complete lack of any and all forum experience, was unsure as to whether or not that was how things work. I'm near-positive that's what open threads are for, though, so you can probably expect to hear from me soon!

Awesome! Yeah, when a thread is open, you can jump in whenever you want. If someone is posting there already, then it becomes a little grey, admittedly - I tend to ask the participants if they're fine with me posting there out of courtesy, and the response is almost always go for it - but there's no-one else there, so there's no issue!
