HISTORY Yuuna's early childhood was a rather plain, uneventful one. She's the sole child of a librarian and an advertisement art director. The young girl has always always shy and soft-spoken, the type to sit in the back of the classroom and draw rather than speak up and keep involved in discussion. The family of three lived a quaint, comfortable life in Chiba, Japan.
When Yuuna was eight, her father fell upon the right contacts to get his daughter in a couple of higher-end commercials. Said commercial aired across the country, and immiediately the girl's cute looks and charming camera capture landed her acclaim. Somehow, she was big news overnight in the advertising industry. Her father was thrilled, but her mother was shocked and starkly against pursuing it -- imagine, exposing a child to that much scrutiny at such a young age? In the end, the world moved on and the family settled back down.
Fast-forward ten years. Yuuna had been conned into auditioning for a school play for her senior year, and to the girl's horror, she landed a substantial role. But somewhere along the lines, when the local press offered a small story with her in one of the images, Tokyo publications got their hands on it -- and by some odd stroke of events, somebody somewhere had recognized her. The play went on and the teen discovered (or at least, she was very repeatedly told) that the camera absolutely adored her. By the time she graduated high school, she couldn't hold off the constant requests by the media industry for her participation. Her father made sure to hook her up with a few decent people, and within a couple months she had packed up and settled into a quaint little apartment in Tokyo.
While at first her parents had helped her with rent, it wasn't for more than a couple months. Yuuna's paychecks began to easily cover expenses as her popularity grew as a model. Not long after she turned twenty, she was coerced into dabbling in a bit of acting. It was an ironic homage to hersecond discovery, and given her timid nature it wasn't easy. But she's long since discovered that as long as the crowds are very small (ruling out live gigs in many cases when she can manage it), she has less difficulty. Her second career as an actress may just be starting, but already she shows fair promise. The cameras love her, after all.
