ESSENTIALS
PERSONALITY Although not the neatest f gentlemen, T-Key has the character of a well-mannered young man, kind and considerate, while cool and humorous when the situation calls for it. This is the persona he has figured suits best to the leader of a boy-band, and thus adopted it from the start of his career. Now, what lies beyond the veil of the idol character is another thing. When he's out of the media's field of sight or sound, he turns into Takeshi, an extremely lazy individual, who tends to forget several things, walk around the house in only his boxers, and get mad at things as easily as he gets hungry.
The change is indeed very scary, but the majority of people who know him don't have a problem, simply because they tend to avoid him when he is not in his idol facade. This reaction he gets though has brought him to a certain point in life, where he is almost completely unaware of what close relationships mean. Sure he talks to his fellow band members more freely than he does to his fans, but that's as far as it goes. Movies and TV series are his only source of research on the subject of close relationships. He's not exactly the bravest person anyway, so, he doesn't even try to get close to anyone. However, if he does actually come to the conclusion that he can trust someone fully, then he will most likely be a very loyal companion.
He tends to keep things to himself, and pile up emotions as if they were books in a library. Due to this, he has occasional breakdowns, but they always occur when he's alone, thus keeping him safe from curious gossipers. He doesn't like talking about his past; when asked about it he will either try to change the subject, or he will throw out a thought-up past he has come up with, in which he lives a normal childhood with a happy family and a labrador. He's pretty good at making up lies and telling them in a believable manner, thus his talent in acting.
Attention is one of the factors that keep him going. He adores being praised and having people recognize him. It's something he didn't witness during his childhood, and now that he has a chance at it, he doesn't waste it at all.
HISTORY Takashi was the second child of a five-member family. His father was a Japanese the director in a marketing department of a rather famous electronic company, and his mother was a German actress who had moved to Japan to look after her ill Japanese mother. The two met through an arranged marriage match, and married each other mostly because of their parents' influence on the subject.
The result of course was an unhealthy family relationship. The first son was the pride of the family as the "heir". He had it pretty rough, having to be at the top of everything, but still Takashi envied him for the attention he got. The third child was a girl, and she was straightly appointed to her mother's care. Her fate too had been sealed from the beginning; she would become an honorable actress like her mother. And then there was Takashi, the problem child. He was in the middle; not many responsibilities for his part, but even without the attention he needed, he was expected to carry the family's name respectfully, and honor it too. He preferred not to do that though. It didn't earn him anything. All he ever tried to do to make his parents happy went unnoticed. At some point he just gave up for good. His grades started falling, he started smoking, he joined a trashy band and played at illegal bars. He even got some tattoos and piercings. His parents didn't even bother to bring him to a straight path again. They warned him once, and when they realized he wouldn't listen, they threw him out of the house instantly.
Takashi didn't mind this result. He found refuge at a friend's house and continued his career as a delinquent. Luckily for his future though, he was found by Brown Moose and was offered a new start. The real celebrity life seemed better than what he had at that moment, so he accepted and was put through a three-year training course. He mastered his performing skills, and learnt that his personality would not benefit him in this life, thus changing it into a more appealing persona. He has come as far as being the leader of KiNGS and he does not plan on leaving his current life.
APPEARANCE Takashi is 5'8 feet tall and weights 130 lbs. He's very lightly muscular, and his complexion is rather tanned in comparison to the average Japanese skin tone. His fingers are pretty long too. His eyes have a piercing, light green color, and his hair is a dark brown color, short on the back, with long bangs on the front which down to the top of his eyes. His ears are both pierced, and he had several tattoos all over his body, the most notable one being under his left eye.
COMMON WEAR He tries to keep up with the new fashion trends when confronted as an idol. It won't be rare to spot him in a simple black hoodie and tight jeans though. He prefers simple over anything else, but will not say no to a complex outfit. He doesn't want people to say he's picky, thus he doesn't have a certain eye-catching style. He has a certain jacket though, which he wears at least once a week. It's a black jacket with red trims and metallic decorations. It was a gift he got from a friend after his first live performance before he became an idol. It's one of the few happy memories he has and he treasures it by wearing it frequently.
OTHER FEATURES Most of his tattoos are white in color. The one under his eye is white as well, and has the shape of a tear. Except for this tattoo, he tries to hide the rest, although some of his fan seem rather interested in them. Both his ears are pierced with simple, small ring-earrings.
