A casual looking smoking, worn rather loosely to give a relaxed feeling, one or two rings to look up to date, and hair in its usual hairstyle. The young man walked as casually as he could among the crowds of nightlife in Shibuya. His appearance from afar could be mistaken for a host, but when someone went close enough, they immediately recognized the famous leader of KiNGS. He didn't even try to hide his identity. The attention he got was pleasant. He was sure to refrain from doing any sketchy activities, that way keeping the media from commenting much on his outing. He would head to a classy looking club, and have a martini or two, dance a bit, and maybe finish with a small walk around the district before heading back home. He had planned everything perfectly. Though still, one thing bothered him. His mind was running through every single detail of the environment around him; the comments were endless but there was no one he could share them with. It had been some time since he had last walked through Shibuya in the night, and everything looked so fascinating. The thought of having someone to share his fascination with came up like a storm and almost destroyed his mood. Maybe he did need some friends after all. The squeels of fans in the background distracted him from that thought, and after putting on a charming smile, he continued his slow walk towards the club. something is wrong with the sum of us that i can't seem to erase how i can i be the only one without a smile on my face Now, some may wonder why it is that a 13 year old girl such as her, esspecially Tayano, would be at Shibuya. Well, it was because she actually enjoyed to do things, and go to places that others would find unfit for the young girl such as her. Though no one except the few she was close to knew, Tayano was actually very serious, very mature, and often emotionless. Tayano was a girl who was good at keeping herself in her public person whenever she is in public, or may be around someone whom she would dislike to have know about her real personality. Though the young girl started walking down the streets of Shibuya dressed up in some of her finest clothing. Darker than the usual bright stuff she'd wear on stage and the, dare she think it, 'kawaii' stuff she'd wear at photo-shoots for Harajuku. It was a simple dark purple dress, with lace cloaking the bottom of it, as well as her sleeves. She wore a matching hat on her head, one like a top hat, yet quite small and angled on the side of her head. She wore black dress shoes, with white tights. With black gloves on with lace as well. That was her attire she decided to wear. For sure not the stuff you'd see at a club, but the closest to something that she had in her closet. Being a 13 year old soloist for Afternoon Delights made it challenging to have anything that wasn't covered with glitter and/or lace, she realized. However, she knew that'd she just have to suck it up for now.  Taking a few more steps, she realized that she could hear a few girls talking amongst themselves. They were giggling and pointing. Pointing at something she currently couldn't see herself. Eyebrows raised, she started craning her head to the right to look for herself. Once she noticed what had the teenage girl's fan-girling, Tayano simply rolled her eyes. Takashi Hatake. Someone she had grown to know quite well, though in her eyes, he was simply another rival. Takashi was the head of KiNGS, and because of this, a threat to her. Tayano herself is quite protective over Afternoon Delights, and whenever another group- whether it be a boy band type like KiNGS is, or another female-oriented idol group like GEM247 {uggh..}, she wanted nothing to do with them. A few were okay {such as Yuki Minase, but she could only handle her in small doses}. But today, she was in no mood for Takashi. Heck, she didn't believe herself to ever be.  However, the more Tayano lingered around the idol, the more she got to thinking about his current situation. Hence, the more puzzled she was. He was alone basically. Eyebrows raised, Ayano took a few more steps forward. Once she did, a few people nearby her squealed, nothing the young idol as well. God, there were somedays she wished she had clothing not so...adorable. Because it seemed adorable was distracting to others. She just wanted to see what it was about the KiNGS leader that made it so he had no one to be with. Didn't he have about a half a dozen other boys he practically commanded to be around? Apparently not, as none of them were there. Quite curious indeed.  Not wanting to get too close to him, and not wanting to be the first one to talk, Ayano simply stepped forwards, quietly walking down to a club. She wasn't completely sure she would be let in at her age, but she was Tayano, soloist for Afternoon Delights, so she figured as much. Though she had forgotten for a moment, she turned on her sweet 13 year old girl charm again, gaining a skip in her step. Though in her mind she was simply curious about Takashi, she looked around at the fans surrounding her instead, winking at them. you never told me otherwise It wasn't long before he realized that he wasn't the only one attracting attention to himself. Part of the scattered fan crowd had their eyes on a young girl with a familiar face and an eye-catching outfit. Not so alone after all. He stopped on his tracks and turned around, walking straight to the girl with a casual step. Sure, the soloist of Afternoon Delight was not the friendliest individual he could talk to, but she was better than nothing. Besides, rivals were the closest to friends he had, after his fellow band members. Or was she not a rival? Yeah, more of an enemy than a rival. The whole group was an enemy to KiNGS. Afternoon Delight was top in the charts, and to keep their position, they didn't seem to let their guard down around anyone. Especially their soloist. Oh he knew her pretty well. Whenever they had met, her reaction to him gave off such a negative aura that it got to his nerves. He almost stopped walking towards her halfway because of the thought. But then again, they both seemed a bit out of place. The leader of KiNGS wandering the streets of Shibuya alone, and the thirteen year old soloist of Afternoon Delight doing the same. Why was she here anyway? The environment didn't fit her aura a bit. And where were the other girls. For the likes of Afternoon Delight to be in Shibuya at such an hour there had to be some kind of campaign they had to attend to. Or maybe a concert? He hadn't heard of a concert taking place around here that day though. The questions kept him going until he had reached a distance of one meter between them. He stopped, gave her one of his camera smiles and greeted her with a quick wave of his hand. "Yo. Fancy meeting you here." By now he had already regretted talking to her. He could already feel the dreadful and negative reply coming out of the girl's mouth. He even took a silent and long breath in, trying to prepare himself for the inevitable. If he could, he would just throw out a "Nevermind" and turn around; get on with his night as if nothing ever happened. But that was something only his past self would do. The reaction wasn't fit for the gentleman he was at the moment. And he couldn't afford to lose his position now, could he? Before the girl could reply, he decided it would be proper t try and ease her reply with a compliment. She figured as much. Normally when an idol saw another idol, they'd usually talk for at least a minute or two. It seemed that it was the same way with Takashi, and so, between the quieting cries of the teens around them, the leader of KiNGS casually made his way to the blonde haired soloist. Though it seemed that, for a moment at least, he had hesitated. That didn't such her much, as in the times in the past that they had met, things had gone a bit less then perfect. However, such happened with most of whom she talked to. When of course she wasn't 'in character'. When she was Tayano, normally everyone adored her. The blonde turned to face the older boy, her expression straight and hard to make out. If he was going to talk with her, then perhaps she would have just a little bit of fun while she was at it. Besides, the only reason she ever did things outside of performances and practice was to better her image, really. Why not work towards that now too? "Yo. Fancy meeting you here." He greeted Ayano, there being quite a bit of sarcasm added into the 'you'. That much Ayano expected. She would have said something similar to him back, if of course she wasn't Tayano tonight. Though, as usual, there were normal people around, the exact type that she needed to stay as bubbly and as cheerful for. Still...her face was straight- emotionless. There wasn't a smile on the young girl's face, but yet again, she wasn't smiling, either. Surely Takashi was wondering just what she was up to, as surely he must know how different she has to act in order to get her fan's sign of approval. But before Ayano could even open up her mouth to speak, Takashi cut her to the chase.  "Nice outfit by the way~" Oh..more of that simply lovely sarcasm. However, all that the soloist did was look down at her dark, yet feminine dress, then giving Takashi a glance back up at him. The air hung heavy as she waited for the perfect time to give a reply back to the guy. "Thank you Takashi-kun~!" Tayano beamed, giving him a bright, cheery smile. A few fans of hers were exhanging comments, likely along the lines of how saying something like that back to him was so like her. Ha, what little they knew. "Fancy meeting you around here, too!" At that moment, the young girl decided to be just a little bit bolder then she typically was, and gave Takashi a curtsy back. After all, she was in the appropriate attire to do such. Once that had been done, she wondered what he would say back to her. Anxiety filled up inside her, the kind she usually got before a performance. Tayano decided just to ignore that for now, and carry on the conversation herself. Though she would have liked to have told the people listening in that they should leave, she wasn't sure it was a good idea. But then again...  "If you could excuse us, everyone~ but Takashi and I would like to have a private conversation" Tayano began. "I promise we'll both be back though!" She said, dragging the older star, using all of her strength to do so. Dragging him over to an area of Shibuya where there were less people wandering around. Likely a location where no one liked to visit. Perfect. "Geez, you're heavy!" Tayano whined, pouting a bit afterwards. She was still in character, despite them being alone. you never told me otherwise His eyebrow almost twitched at her response. His ironic tone was bowing down to her performance. Oh the nerve of that girl. But that was her public act after all. This certain cute and elegant persona was the thing that made him regret the whole situation. It was something that made him go nuts inside, and the fact that he couldn't go nuts outside too made him insanely mad at her. It would be nice if this was not a performance. He knew her well enough though to understand that this was far from her true nature. A response was waiting in line, but thank heavens it was outrun by the girl's next suggestion. Her words sounded like a good solution to several things. Time to drop the act, he thought to himself joyfully. He would finally be able to rant without a care of what the public would say. His expression had gone through a pretty long train of change, but the one he currently wore was that of success. A quick apologetic look and smile directed to the fans was what cracked his joy. And then another unpleasant eyebrow twitch passed by as he was suddenly dragged away from the crowd without his permission. Oh the nerve of that girl. Once they were out of the heavy crowd atmosphere, he caught himself sighing a relaxed sigh. He liked attention, but sometimes it was not really necessary. His eyes slowly turned from the road to the soloist's face. The charming aura he had on his face previously had now completely vanished and the only thing one could notice on him was disapproval and irony. Where did all this irony come from anyway He couldn't remember himself being this ironic before. Maybe his boredom was responsible, or maybe it was the girl's presence. He couldn't exactly point it out. The tone in the girl's voice made him remember that brief thought he had earlier. Was it perhaps not a performance? No no, this girl's way of thinking was just way too annoying. Oh well, he wasn't one to crush the fun. He wore a worried expression and looked around him with an uneasy look. something is wrong with the sum of us that i can't seem to erase how i can i be the only one without a smile on my face Ayano had practically skipped to where she currently is in order to get the KiNGS member to the dark corner of Shibuya. But in the end, all that she seemed to get for just the longest time was plain awkward silence. Though typically, she was such a person for silence, when it was in such a way where she expected one to reply to her, it really felt..wrong. Doing many light jumps were her feet don't even do as much as lift off of the ground, the young idol continued to examine the teenager. Really, know that it really came to her mind, when was the last time she'd ever been this alone with the guy? Never, as far as she knew. Getting a bit nervous and jittery, she all the same waited with this fake, yet realistic looking smile on her face. One of an innocent young girl who only wanted to hang out with the older boy for a bit. But in all reality, this was far from the case.  As she continued to think about this or that, something new came to her mind. W-What exactly was the point of her talking to Takashi? Being away from fans meant that she certainly wasn't going to be gaining anything by doing this, also she certainly would be getting any feelings of pleasure by talking to the brute. So really...why? Tayano couldn't come up with a legit answer in time, as soon enough Takashi himself came up with something to say.  "People might talk, Ayano-chan." He warned the young girl with a serious expression and just as serious expression. To this, Tayano rolled her eyes playfully, wondering wether or not she should take the risk and do just what was on her mind. Oh, of course she would. If she's going to be doing this, might as well go all the way, right? Leaning forward, she grabbed Takashi's shoulders with her hands. She leaned up against him, nudging his chin with her hair. "Oh, let them talk" She purred, looking up at the boy with a grin. "It's not like a respectable like me would be anything she'd regret~ I may not look like it, but I'm plenty smart" Tayano chirruped, pushing herself back using Takashi, and leaning up against a wall nearby. Well..this was going quite interesting so far.  Grinning at the other singer, she thought up something else to say. Of course she wasn't going to give him a chance to speak, not yet anyways. "Aaaaanyways.." Tayano continued, letting the word draw on longer so she could think of the next words to speak. "...I was just wondering, what's a guy like you doing out here?" The dirty blonde asked, giving him a sweet curious face. It was actually a question she was curious about. What was he doing out in Shibuya at night? Didn't he have something else to be doing. At least she herself had a decent explanation. Her hair on his chin almost made him lose his cool, but he somehow managed to endure it. His whole body had tensed up way too much when the girl turned her head to give him a grin. Oh this girl was just too much. He swore he would have pushed her away forcefully if she hadn't stepped away herself. Smart my ass. He clicked his tongue unawarely. Now he was just plainly irritated. Right there and then he was ready to turn around, ignore her completely and get back to enjoying his evening away from annoying little girl. But the change in her tone made him think about it again. One more try it is. If the soloist annoyed him way too much again, he would just leave and end the bothersome situation. He questioned, not seeming to be at all pleased by Tayano in any way, shape, or form. Though she was plenty used to this, and didn't let it bother her one bit. She playfully rolled her eyes, though she did manage a nod. "Of course you can~ I mean, what fun is being famous if you can't have a little bit of fun every once in a while, right?" Tayano tried to get on the boy's good side, hoping that she could eventually ease the tension that had been filling the air for the past 5 or so minutes. "I guess that you could say that's what I'm doing too" Another cheeky smirk come upon the young idol's face, but a moment or so later, it vanished. "Still, it isn't nearly as much fun when there isn't anyone else for me to have fun with..."  It was actually kinda funny how she was saying all of these things to him, when in complete honesty she didn't even have too much of a desire to be with anyone. It was rarely when she did. All the same, she couldn't pass up an oppourtunity to mess with a rival's mind. It wouldn't go any further than that, she'd long ago decided. "So..." She stopped for a moment, letting her wide, sparkling eyes look into his. "That's why I came to you~!" With that, the dirty blonde did what she'd always do while in character- she gave him a tackle hug, locking her whole body around his. In fact, her feet weren't even touching the ground anymore, as the were pressed tightly up against his. It was a darn good thing she was fairly light, or else Takashi may have gone down.  Before he could say a word of protest, Tayano hopped off the older idol, staring up at him. She tried to make her face as sweet, and genuinely innocent as she could manage, even batting her eyelashes at him. She didn't know if this counted as flirting, but she hoped not. It would be out of her character to do such things {and actually, she almost gagged thinking about it}. "Will you play with me.. you never told me otherwise It was going pretty good so far, this last try. Takashi could definitely relate to the girl's mood, and relating to someone was the key for him to stay interested. "I guess that you could say that's what I'm doing too"He barely managed to keep back his sassy attitude mood and tell her something along the lines of "Nobody asked you". If he was going to make this last try at conversation work, he had to be appropriate himself. After all, it was painfully obvious that Ayano was trying her best at the moment too. It wouldn't hurt to have some company on this fine night. And then came her in character attitude again, and the boy just lost it. This girl was messing with his nerves, he was sure of it. Oh yes, it was time to walk away. And he would have if it wasn't for the unexpected tackle hug. Ayano was officially number one on his list of most annoying people. He knew the girl would be a perfect person to talk to if she didn't mess around so much. She was smart, he knew that much, but her whole ease at changing attitudes was the most annoying thing about her. Such a waste. That exact thought was one of the things that had been keeping him at place all this time. He had given her a last chance and he would go all the way through it. "Only if you promise not to come closer than one foot towards me again." His words came out as soon as he finished her question and the words sounded a bit harsh and cold to someone who didn't know that the girl was currently having an in-character moment. He gave her a completely uninterested look and messed with his hair for a bit before sighing. Now that the appetizer had been given out, it was time for the main course.
