personality Kimiko's personality somewhat changes depending on her blood sugar levels. Why? Because she has diabetes. If her blood sugar levels are normal, you're lucky and you've managed to catch her on a good day. She'll be sweet and kind toward you unless you ask her for an opinion - because, in that case, you'll turn her into a diva who can't help but be bluntly honest in her criticisms. On the off chance that her blood sugar too high or low, which is rare because she always has her insulin with her, then, to put it nicely, she's like a mad cow. However, that only applies to her interaction with strangers. If you're a friend, then you've lucked out because she at least tries being nice regardless of her glucose levels. GOOD -- friendly, observant, honest, intelligent, sweet BAD -- judgmental, stubborn, arrogant, foul-tempered (on off days), clingy biography Kimiko's childhood was rather uneventful. She easily blended into the background during grade school and the same most likely would have happened in middle school if her best friend hadn't asked her to become the manager of his basketball team. She agreed to do it, of course, since she didn't want to be invisible like she had been during her grade school. It was during this time that she met a boy that encouraged her to find her own path. She didn't know it at the time but this boy had actually been in the audience of the one play that her grade school had actually produced. Throughout middle school, she participated in the drama club in addition to her duties as the basketball team manager. She hadn't made very many friends in drama club but managed to befriend the entirety of the basketball team regulars. Suddenly, during her third and final year of middle school, a talent agency was having open auditions. The very boy that had told her to find her own path had teamed up with her best friend to trick her into auditioning. Surprisingly, to her, she had made it all the way through and, before she knew it, she was signed on to the agency as an actress. When she told her two friends, they just gave her smug looks and said, "I told you so." After being signed by the agency, Kimiko had to transfer schools so that it would be easier to get to her jobs. She, of course, tried her best to keep in touch with the friends she had made during middle school. By the time that she would have graduated high school, Kimiko knew that one of them had become a model and another had gone to Todai to become a journalist. She had already known that her best friend had decided to go into the police force - but couldn't remember if he had decided to get a law degree beforehand.
