It wasn't often that Kimiko ventured into Harajuku. She usually did her shopping in Shibuya since it was somewhat closer to where she lived and worked. Still, she did like to go to Harajuku every once in a while when she wanted to splurge. After all, there were some things that she found she could only purchase in Harajuku. At the very least, she didn't think she was too likely to run into someone from GEM247 or Afternoon Delight who seemed to be on TV almost everyday - something that didn't particularly understand, although Kimiko was somewhat judgmental of female idols who think that they were capable of doing anything.

It wasn't that she hated female idols. It's just that Kimiko was of the opinion that people should find what they're best at and focus on that one thing. She's perfectly fine when idols focus on only one thing like music and then act, dance, or model on the side.

When it came down to it, Harajuku was not Emil's ideal place to hang out at. The man did not care much for what was "trendy" or "in" and usually opted for more comfortable clothing. Of course, as a photographer of popular idols and things of the sort, he knew the fashion industry quite well, but cameras weren't able to capture the image of its user. Thus, he didn't feel that he had to maintain an image like the women he usually took pictures of. Sure, many considered a handsome guy, but the less attention he got, the better. He belonged behind the camera, not in it. The blue-haired man yawned as he finally walked away from the photoshoot set. To be honest, he wanted nothing more than to be up and out of Harajuku. The lesser known idol the photoshoot was for had enough attitude to fill the Japanese Trench. He was half-tempted to phone her parents and tell them to discipline their girl better. Before he was able to leave the area, though, a flash of pink caught his eye. His brow rose as he turned curiously. "Hasegawa Kimiko...?"

Kimiko had already been in Harajuku for about an hour, now, and she had still not found anything that she actually liked. While it was still true that she had managed to find a few nice outfits, she had yet to manage to find something that she absolutely loved. She was starting to think that she might have been better off trying to go shopping in Shibuya. In fact, if it weren't for the face that she knew that KiNGS was based there - she probably would have gone there. While she was a huge fan of KiNGS, she had no intention of letting people know about it. She would look like a hypocrite if that were to happen! That was the last thing that she wanted.

She had just been about to walk into another one of Harajuku's many boutiques when she heard someone call her name. She turned her body in the direction that the voice had come from and asked, "Yes...and you are?" Kimiko, of course, didn't really care too much about what the man's answer was. He had all but killed her in his attempt to learn about her, after all. Of course, with his luck, his mother probably found a way to make it look like he she did it.

Ah, so he was right. He knew that the woman looked familiar from somewhere, but he wasn't too sure. If she was just a regular woman and he mistakened her for a star, that would've been quite the compliment. If the woman was a different star than the name he called out with, though... that would not have ended too well. In his defense, he did not pay much attention to actresses. Only idols and enka singers filled his repertoire of star knowledge. When she turned around at the sound of his voice, his own appearance suddenly caught his own attention. Perhaps having a camera hanging from his neck wasn't quite the best idea. Thankfully he wasn't wearing his beanie this time around. Famous people never seemed to react well to the paparazzi, after all. And the grubbier they looked, the angrier the stars usually became. He sighed. He probably should have thought a bit before yelling the woman's name. "Kurosawa Emil. Photographer, not paparazzi," he replied. Though he wasn't a star himself, he did share the hatred of paparazzi. Photos were meant to illustrate the beauty of something, not for such underhanded means. Besides, there were a few times they managed to completely cancel a shoot simply by posting a few scandalous pictures to the web. That was valuable cash in his wallet, darn it. He needed that!

YOU'RE MY FAVOURITE DRUG

A photographer, huh? Kimiko wasn't all too sure what she thought about that. She hadn't had the best history with photographers. There was just something about them that pissed her off. Most of the ones that she had encountered in the past seemed to expect her to act like any idol would...no matter how many times she had specifically said that she was not an idol. She was a simple seiyuu - that was it (even though she DID refer to herself as an actress since she had been cast in dramas in the past). Letting out a soft sigh, Kimiko apologized, "Sorry, I just haven't had the best experience with photographers...or paparazzi." If she recalled correctly, she had tried to hang out with one of her old middle school friends and some photographer had caught them together - starting a rumor that she might be dating that aforementioned friend. She hadn't been dating him, of course. Still, the fact remained that people had thought that they were dating for the longest time...which had been slightly awkward since Kimi was pretty sure that he had a girlfriend who definitely wasn't her. Of course, that's also ignoring the fact that her friend knew that she liked someone else (the same person that she had liked since middle school, at that). Shaking her head at the thought, Kimiko continued to speak, "So...what brings you here?"
