personality Hayato can sometimes be a bit of a goofball but he knows when it's time to buckle down and get serious. He can be very mischievous when he wants to be and has, on more than one occasion, pulled some pretty nasty pranks on his fellow group members. None of it was harmful, of course. He could easily get usurped as leader of the group, after all, and that wasn't exactly something that he desired. However, that's only how he acts when he's not in the public eye. In public, he still keeps his happy-go-lucky attitude. It's just toned down a lot so he doesn't seem childish. It wouldn't exactly look good if the leader acted like a little kid, right? Hayato is also a pretty humble guy. Sure, he knows that he's one of the best dancers of his generation but he would never say it out loud. The only reason he became so good was through hard work and practice, after all. Unfortunately, Hayato does have a bit of a dark side. If he's not doing something with Super Rangers, he can be a bit of a biography Hayato's home life was dysfunctional - and that's putting it in a nice way. His mother left him and his father for another man when he was seven. She doesn't think that he knows since she told him that it was because she didn't want to see her only child go down a path of uncertainty...she also doesn't know that he walked on her and her lover only two years prior when he was five years old. The path of uncertainty that his mother had been speaking of was, of course, Hayato's desire to become a performer. From a young age, he had attended singing and dancing lessons. His father made him take a few acting classes, as well, just in case he might need the skill in the future. When he was around sixteen years old, his father actually dragged him to an audition at Simple Apple. The audition process is a bit of a blur to him now but the important thing was that he walked away with a contract. Over the course of about a year, Hayato had recorded several singles for various anime series. In fact, he even had the chance to voice a couple - well, they were all characters involved with music in some way so it hadn't been too surprising. What was surprising, though, was when one of Simple Apple's managers asked him to lead a new boy band that would soon debut. At first, Hayato had been iffy. He wasn't exactly sure if he wanted to be a part of a group. After a talk with his father, who had supported him through everything, Hayato eventually agreed and he hasn't regretted that decision ever since. He actually likes his group members quite a bit, to be honest.
