PERSONALITY Before she became an idol, Noa had a very low self-esteem thanks to her father. She didn’t see her own full potential and she thought she was great at anything she did, including singing. Now after joining GEM247, she’s the type of person who is energetic, outgoing and loves to have fun. She likes having a variety of friends, including her idol mates. But she mostly likes to have a fun with only a few friends. As a friend, she’s extremely loyal. Usually, Noa is relaxed, but can be quite serious when she wants. It is very hard to get Athena worked up and angry, but when she is, everyone had better run. Naturally, She is a kind person who is concerned for people, even when some of those people dislike her. She's usually the one who will run over to a friend's house with movies, ice cream, cookies and other things they might like just to make them feel better.
However, she can be stubborn, believing things that others don’t. Noa is quite naïve and can ask questions that a five year old would ask. She can be anxious at times, whenever she has to perform at a huge venue or during handshake events. During dance practice, she could become very clumsy causing accidents until she gets the hang of the dance. Also, whenever she gets disappointed or depressed about something, she tends to get withdrawn, keeping to herself until someone could cheer her up.
HISTORY Born in the heart of Chiba, Japan, Noa was just four years old when she moved to Tokyo due to her father’s job as a businessman. Her family consists of her mother, father, and an older brother who currently attends university. Ever since she saw one of her favorite idols perform on television, Noa always wanted to become an idol, but she lacked self-esteem as a little girl and didn’t think she would receive attention. She kept her dreams to herself from her father, who didn’t favor his daughter becoming an idol since he thought it would be a complete waste of time. By the time she was in high school, she completely gave up hope.
During her junior year in high school, her friends were auditioning to become idols in the group, GEM247, which was holding auditions, however, none of them passed. Remembering what her father told her before about being an idol, Noa didn’t think twice about entering. Her friends began to encourage her to audition, since they thought she looked ‘idol material’. After much pressing from her friends, including her mother and brother, finally auditioned before time ran out.
Despite suffering anxiety attacks during the auditions, she managed to floor the judges with her beautiful voice. She was elated and excited that her dream was finally being realized. Unfortunately, her father wasn’t too happy about it and was determined to not let his daughter get involved in the idol business. Not wanting her dad to discourage her any longer, she confronted him, telling him to not ruin her dream and that she could make her own choices and be who she wanted to be. Her father eventually gave up and let Noa be in the idoling business.
Working hard as a trainee, she finally was a full fledged member of the group. She tries her best to make her fans adore her and her current goal is to become a successful person and be a successful idol as well.
APPEARANCE Noa has dark blue hair, down to her shoulders and all the way down to her back. When Noa was younger, her bangs had the tendency to always fall into her face. Rather than cut her hair, Noa compensated that by parting her bangs with a yellow hairclip that she always wears. Liking how it wound up looking, Noa keeps up with the hairstyle to this day. Her eyes are a light blue and they have a tendency to sparkle whenever she becomes excited. Standing at 5’1” and weighting about 111 pounds, Noa’s taken pretty good care of herself, as she dances a lot after becoming a member.
COMMON WEAR When attending school, Noa wears her school uniform, pictured here. On the go, she wears frilly skirts, bracelets, cute tops as well as cute flats. If it gets chilly or cold during the fall and winter season, she wears a light cream colored jacket. In the warmer months, she tends to wear bright colored dresses, sometimes strapless and flipflops.
