friends	For the most part, Emil is not the type of person to have many friends. Due to his sarcastic tongue and teasing demeanor, he tends to get on the nerves of most of his contemporaries. If one can put up with his irritating nature, don't be ready for much of a change. In fact, for those who he likes, he will usually irritate them more to get a reaction out of them. Still, he will show his friends his softer side, doting on them and giving a listening ear, just like a kind older brother.
enemies	While Emil tends to irritate many people, he isn't the type to have many enemies. Personally, he feels that it is too much work to maintain that role. If people hurt his friends, though, his all around personality will take a turn for the worse. He will get revenge in the absolute worst way possible.
lovers	Contrary to what many people think, Emil is the type of person to take a relationship seriously. Though he is still teasing to the one he loves, he will definitely be more kind and affectionate. Reaching this status, though, is rather difficult for Emil is not the type of person to fall quickly for someone, and when he does, he won't say anything until he is sure the other feels the same way.

I'm here to recount what we discussed in the cbox the other day as best as I can remember! So Hazuki tolerates/puts up with many things, so somehow they became friends, possibly because he was the first customer she served at her cafe and/or because he's a regular, because who doesn't want A+ service from a maid cafe? You mentioned that Emil might have tried calming her down a bit because she gets nervous when she's new at things, which sounds...interesting, haha.

She'd understand his teasing but will probably take a few of his remarks seriously, but eventually he'd poke her on the nose and tell her that he was joking when that happened. There was also something about him scolding her for some things, I think when she's being too soft? But maybe he appreciates that he doesn't get on her nerves as much as many other people.

Also, ENKA KARAOKE DANCE PARTY. Which is totally cracky, but if it got to that point where she could actually (attempt) to sing and dance with him in the same room, it would mean that she's comfortable around him. jmp With the teasing thing, I wouldn't say she'd be 100% relaxed, but they'd be fairly close for that to happen.

Augh. I'm so sorry for not seeing this until now. I haven't been feeling well for the past week and was totally out of it. orz

But yes. I'd imagine that when they first met, he'd probably tease her a bit in a rather horrible attempt to calm her down. But seeing as though she'd probably take it seriously, he'd follow it up with reassuring her that he was kidding by poking her on the nose. And yeah. He wouldn't be irritated at her tendency of being soft, but it would definitely worry him to the point of scolding her for it at times.

Also, the fact that he doesn't get on her nerves would definitely be a first for him. He'd definitely find it intriguing. While it would be his first intention to try and get on her nerves, he'd probably try and hold himself back just so that he doesn't hurt her feelings.

But overall, I think they'd come to know about each other through the maid cafe. And maybe throughout his frequent visits, they become friends? And of course, when she actually gets comfortable around him, then EPIC ENKA KARAOKE DANCE PARTY~ Oh gosh. That's going to be fun to play out. xD

But that's just my input. I remember you suggesting to maybe have a very casual thread where we post when we can. If you don't mind that, I wouldn't mind doing that. x3

I think she'd stand shocked for a second, and try to scramble to regain proper composure when he said he was joking. She's practised in hiding her emotions so if she is hurt, it won't show a lot, but she'd quiet down even more than usual.

The maid cafe is an obvious route, though since it's hard to meet up directly with maids, maybe he noticed her out on the street in Akihabara or Harajuku and got to know each other more out there too? Also, since you can request maids, maybe he would often ask for her to make his drink or decorate his food or something?

...What if he took photos of the cute food she decorated for him? XD Like if he likes lattes or cake, she can do that. It's a very blog-y or commercial thing, and I know he photographs famous people, so I don't know if he'd take any pictures for cafe advertising? I know casual snapshots generally aren't allowed in maid cafes, at least of the actual workers. Dunno, came up with this right now, but I think it's a potential reason for the maid cafe connection too, if not only for the fact that maid cafes are totally awesome. XD

I'd be up for that super casual thread! :> Just have to figure out a situation.

That could actually work out. Though Emil isn't big on dressing fashionably, due to his work with idols, he definitely knows what's in and not. I could see him recognizing her in Akihabara or Harajuku as "that girl from the maid cafe" and walking up to her. And after knowing her well enough, he would request her more.

He definitely would take pictures of the food too. When he first started off, he took pictures of nature instead of people. And although food isn't nature, in his eyes, it's close enough. In my personal head canon of him, he has a popular tumblr page where he posts all the things he takes pictures of things that catch his eyes, so indirect advertising...? And if he got in trouble for it, he'd definitely ask for permission. x3

And a casual thread... Hm... Maybe it could be their first meeting...? And if not, maybe he could see here walking around somewhere in town and end up talking to her...? Idk. xD

Sounds good! I did a little research and there's at least one cafe for sure (which means I'm sure there's a few more, haha) that allows you to take photos of everything but the maids for free as long as you ask a maid before you shoot, and then show it to them afterwards to confirm that you're not breaking any rules. Since Hazuki appreciates art, I think she'd really like to see them and would compliment the composition and other formal aspects instead of just saying "it's pretty". XD I don't think many other maids at her cafe would use that kind of language, .

It wouldn't make sense since she's been working there for at least a year, and also I'd rather their relationship be fairly established, tbh. X) Maybe not super close just yet if you wanna keep a bit of an awkward air, since that could be interesting. If they do meet each other by chance, maybe they could do something together? I love when that happens when I see my friends out randomly. XD

Oh!! Maybe we can do something in the events? The Sapporo Snow Festival and New Years are relevant...there has to be at least one enka performance happening there! You know how it's easier to be dorkier in public with friends sometimes? /laugh

That's awesome. Emil actually would appreciate detailed feedback on his photos. He's not really one for those, "Uwaah~ So cute!" types of things. And the fact that he can take pictures of things (with asking permission first, of course) definitely is a plus too. Because he didn't grow up in the country, he likes to send pictures of the many things in Japan back to his family and old friends.

That sounds cool, though. Maybe be could be a regular at the cafe and have bumped into her a few times outside of work, but not much more than that? So they could be friends, but super close?

Ah, and I'd think that the Sapporo Snow Festival definitely would catch his eye more than anything else. Pretty ice sculptures me and pretty pictures for him to take. And maybe they knew of each others like for enka before, but then they really understand how much each likes it after they saw their favorite artist live? Then they can fangirl/boy dorkily together. XD
