personality As the soloist of a popular male idol group, Ryoma likes to make himself look more serious than he really is. It also means that he can't exactly act the way that he normally would - which would be like an immature little child. He can be a sadistic and manipulative bastard who is pretty much willing to do anything to get whatever it is that he wants. He's also very honest when it comes to his opinion. However, while that normally would be a good thing. Ryoma is honest to the point of being blunt which isn't exactly nice. He can also be extremely arrogant and snarky. On the positive side of things, though, Ryoma can be quite protective over the people and objects that he cares about. He's also intelligent enough to where he could have graduated from high school early if he had wanted to. He's also quite ambitious when it comes to accomplishing his goals. In addition to that, Ryoma learned to be independent at a very young age since he hadn't needed his parents' help with anything for years. Despite his mostly awful attitude, Ryoma is also a very caring individual. biography Ryoma grew up in the Kanagawa prefecture with his parents and twin brother, Souta. The twins had been raised in a rather modest home despite the fact that their father was the head of a very successful law firm. Ryoma had always had to work for certain things himself while his twin brother, being younger by about ten minutes, usually got whatever he wanted without ever having to ask for it. By the age of ten, Ryoma had already won several talent contests despite the fact that it was his brother that had wanted the fame and fortune (the greedy little twerp!). In a way, one could say that it was Souta that had inspired Ryoma to become an idol. While the two didn't get along very well, due to Souta's constant feelings of entitlement, Ryoma did enjoy the fact that, for once, he was the one that got what Souta wanted...after years of watching Souta get whatever he wanted in addition to whatever Ryoma wanted, it was nice to see the opposite happen for a change. Of course, the fact that Ryoma was now a part of KINGS certainly didn't help their relationship. If anything, they probably get along worse than they did before. It wasn't intentional, though. His brother was the one that was supposed to "audition" when they were around six but he was sick at the time, so their parents made Ryoma go in his place since the two looked similar enough that the only people who could tell them apart were those close to the family. However, when the family got the call that "Souta" had gotten through the auditions, the agency wanted to meet the whole family - wanting the full set - since Souta's application mentioned a twin brother...and the secret was let out since they wanted to see if both of them were good enough. Ryoma didn't have much of a choice after that impromptu audition (where they found out that Souta couldn't sing at all and that it must have been Ryoma at the original audition). It was either he joined the agency or watch his parents get sued. Now, he's stuck with a bunch of uptight jerks (well, the language he'd use would be a bit more crude but you get the point and there's one person that he actually kind of likes). For a group that had mostly been picking members based on appearance, even Ryoma was a bit surprised that they hadn't allowed Souta to be a part of everything. Ryoma later found out that Souta could have gotten in alongside Ryoma if he had at least showed up to his own "audition" instead of having Ryoma go in his place. He can sing, dance, act. He can pretty much do everything. He prides himself in his singing, though, because he thinks that's what he's best at. He's also pretty athletic but he can't exactly spend time playing sports when he's got to focus on KINGS. He can also play piano and guitar among several other instruments. There are many things that annoy Ryoma...like the puppy that his twin brother got when they were fifteen...stupid little thing. His brother, in general, annoys him as well because the little twerp feels entitled to pretty much everything.
