Sleeping on Rooftops [OPEN]

D ue to her tightly-packed schedule, Mayu would often come home late in the night and collapse on the couch only to manage about three hours of restless sleep. Then during school, she would try to mask the bags under her eyes with a bit of concealer and illumination using the technique that Ricchan had taught her. If she had her way, she wouldn't even bother brushing her hair before coming to school - however to her, work is work. And work is constant so long as the public eye is on her.  "Persistance... Persistance."  She uttered quietly, an English word lightly accented by her Japanese tongue. Instead of eating lunch in homeroom with the other students, the teenaged idol was sitting on the rooftop. Its not at all like they show you in dramas - it was cold and windy up here, and the ground was scattered with bird droppings and the corners were littered with rubbish other students had left behind. On first glance she was merely studying - but a closer look at the English study book that was slipping from her hand would suggest that her mind was on other things...  The time spent training before GEM247's debut was relentless although looking back on it now, she didn't know why she complained so much. She had completed her exams last month and that only served as a reminder that there was so little that remained of her senior year. It would be time to move up to college soon...  A small crease formed in the corner of her lips. The girls at Gem would be moaning about their homework and giggling on how the underclassmen in their clubs are so cute. "Huff.. They should focus more on the regime rather then something so frivolous." Talking to herself because there isn't really anyone else to talk to. Then, even though her face had softened back into that neutral gaze, a solemness was lurking beneath her murky eyes before she rest her head against the wall and closed them gently, dosing off while appreciating a peace and tranquility that she had not experienced since the end of middle school.

HEAVEN'S GATES

won't open up for me

Ryoma hated how he still had to go to school. What made it worse, though, was who went to his school. As if it weren't already bad enough that he was stuck in the same school as his younger twin brother who hated the fact that Ryoma was the one that became an idol while he was stuck working at a burger joint, Ryoma also had the absolute pleasure of attending the same school as the leader of GEM247. While he had no problem with the group itself, there was something about the leader that angered him. He hadn't said it out loud, of course. He would hate having to deal with the backlash if he were to voice his opinion in public...there was just something off about her, though.

He wasn't just saying that, either. He had been around to see their school's so-called prince ditch her for the school's former queen bee - a position that she had taken over when the high school belle had left.

Even though he had never been friends with the girl, he remembered when she had started warming up to people...until that aforementioned incident had occurred, of course. Since then, Kisaki Mayu had transformed into a full-blown ice queen. Unfortunately, though, he didn't think that there was anything that could get her to open up again. Ryoma couldn't blame her, either...he wouldn't know what he would do if he had been in the same position that she had once been in.

Still, though, he couldn't help but worry about her. Ryoma had gone up to the roof to eat his lunch - only to find Kisaki Mayu leaning against the wall. He let out a soft sigh and spoke up, making his presence known. "Should you really be sleeping here, Kisaki?"
