APPEARANCE If you were to look at Tak and then his parents, it would quickly become clear that his father contributed very little to his appearance. Tak's father, a short Japanese man with short black hair and dark brown eyes, looks almost nothing like him. His mother, on the other hand, appears to have passed on pretty much everything about her appearance. Her height. Her blonde hair. The color of her eyes. Tak's younger sister is more of a mix between the two, while if Tak and his father walked around together, most people wouldn't guess they're even related.
Tak keeps his blonde hair a bit on the longer side; it's usually falling across his face and he's constantly brushing it out of the way of his eyes. When he was younger it was usually kept short, but now that he's out on his own and his mother can't insist on him getting a haircut, he keeps it how he likes it. Which usually means bedhead. He can't be bothered to try and tame his hair. His eyes are a dark pink and his skin is light enough that he doesn't tan. He usually just gets sunburned, which should push him to put on some sunscreen or something but doesn't. He couldn't care less.
At 6'1 Tak is tall, though his mother is taller still at 6'3. His father is the smallest of the family, just managing to come up to his son's shoulders. He weighs 172 pounds and looks fairly thin. He's slim and lean, usually keeping himself in shape for his roles and not because he really sets out to do so. As far as clothing goes, he usually dresses quite casually. A simple T-shirt and jeans are all you'll find him in most days. If it gets colder he throws on a jacket, but that aside he doesn't vary too much. He wears what he finds comfortable; he's no fashion model. Sometimes if his sister gets a hold of him she might force him into something a bit nicer. You'll know when this has happened because he won't look very comfortable in the clothes she picked out.

He's actually familiar with a number of different languages; his father studied languages when he was a kid (even worked at a university teaching several of them) and when he grew older got a job as a translator for the government. The man spent a good amount of time with his son teaching him languages. Tak is fluent in Japanese, English, and Italian, and proficient (or at least decent) in several others. He's familiar with Spanish, French, Korean, and Chinese. He can hold a basic conversation in German but ask him for anything more than that and he'll have to make it up. Anything else, such as illnesses, history, peeves, etc, would all fall under here (this is all optional, folks).
