Uta wo utai nagara YEAH Miyou mimane de LET'S DANCE!" The singing came from Tsukino Mizuki as she sang along to the radio. She was preparing in one of the rooms at Gem Talent Agency for the information and Q&A video that would be shot with a few of the other girls from GEM247. She was doing her hair, just putting in a simple daisy clip, a nice match to her white shirt with decorative lace on the short sleeves and collar, yellow shorts with a silver belt, and white converse with a slight heel. The white and yellow flower contrasted nicely against her hair. The song ended, and Mizuki turned off the radio. She took a minute to take a deep breath and calm down her frayed nerves; this was the first time she would be recording something like this. Telling people about herself and answering random questions. Well, maybe not random; the manager probably picked out the good questions. She sighed, twirling in the revolving chair before staring at herself in the mirror. Her hair was hair-sprayed perfectly in place, her eyes bright and filled with excitement. Mizuki couldn't wait to see who would show up to the dressing room next; she had gotten there extra early... a bit too early in fact. The manager hadn't had even arrived yet. They only let her into the building because a crowd of people were starting to form. So Mizuki had practiced a bunch of dances while singing along to the music. Ready to Rock Yuki had decided to show up a little bit early for this interview for once. Normally she would prefer to arrive around a minute before or after or so, but she decided that she was going to try and be early for things, at least for a little while. Or until she could arrive before Rinko and declare that she was late. Or until she ended up slacking off. Whichever came first. She'd brought along her Vita, too, thinking that she'd have time to play a few quick games before people showed up, but evidently she wasn't the only early person. She thought she heard something inside the room, but it quickly ended before she could get closer. She opened the door, expecting Rinko, but instead it Tsukino. She was a bit newer to GEM247 than she was, but was probably more used to the lifestyle, given her previous experience. "Heya Tsukiko!" Yuki said in greeting, waving with the hand that held her console. Moon Child was her proper nickname, but she had some difficulty saying it, so Tsukiko it was! "Was hopin' I'd get here first." She confessed with a grin as she went to take a seat. The girl didn't start to play games, however. It wasn't exactly something you did when someone you knew was in the room with you unless you really didn't care about showing respect to them. "Were you singing before I arrived?" Yuki asked, curious to know what it was. She didn't think it was a GEM song, so maybe it was something she personally liked?

"Hello Yuki!" The newer member said happily, bowing slightly. Finally someone else was here! For some reason she felt just a little nervous around Yuki. She hadn't gotten to get to know many of the girls in Gem247 yet, but this was her big chance! Mizuki smiled widely. "I got here maybe... two hours ago? I was so excited to get started, I got here before the building opened. They had to unlock the doors for me 'cause people were starting to spot me and coming over." She poked her fingers together, and her smile got a bit smaller. Even though Mizuki was used to people coming up to her, this was different; she was an idol now, so she had to watch what she said and how she acted. She nodded when Yuki asked if she was singing. "Yeah, I was singing along to the radio. My dad wrote that last song for an all female group, but I can't remember their name..." She wracked her brain for a moment, then shrugged it off. Mizuki walked over to the table were all her stuff was laid out and she picked up a piece of paper on the table. "Manager-san left the list of questions on the table for us, so we would be able to prepare our answers! I like most of the questions, and they seem easy enough to answer." The list was fairly simple: Why did you decide to become an idol? Why did you choose to join GEM247? If you weren't an idol, what would you be? What do you like most about being an idol? What position do you hope to place in the next vote? What influenced your style/image? What kind of music do you listen to, and does it inspire you? Do you think you will travel to other countries to perform? Can you say speak in a different language? THE ROCKS WITH HOLES ARE WARM IN MY HAND

Yeah, yeah, they were going to be wearing a uniform for the interview video, as they were required to do about 99.9% of the time, but Rinko just bought new clothes from Candy Stripper that she was dying to wear out at soon as she could. The white one-piece with the red lipstick print was going to be one of her new favourite pieces, she knew it. She was feeling extra good today, so she even stopped at a nearby cafe to buy some vanilla coffee to drink before the filming, moving slowly and holding it extra carefully so she wouldn't spill a drop on herself -- or more importantly, her dress.

Rinko entered the dressing room with about thirty minutes to spare, just enough to get dressed and fix up her hair and make-up if she needed to. She put her cup down in front of her mirror and took off her heart-shaped sunglasses. "Hey everyone," she greeted casually in the general direction of her two group-mates before getting her clothes from the hanger. How funny to arrive after Yuki! Today was a different day indeed. She slipped into the clothes easily, having been used to changing into the GEM costumes for a few years now.

Back when she was just outside the room, the first voice she overheard was Mizuki talking about the list of questions that they would be asked. Rinko assumed that because she was a new member, maybe she'd be running down the list, planning her answers. Once her uniform was in order and her personal clothes were put away neatly, she came over to sit by them, holding her coffee. "I like it when I don't know the questions," she informed, grinning as she relaxed in her chair and took a sip of her drink, eyes averted from the list. Candid answers sounded much more natural by default, and they were fun, even if they could be uncomfortable sometimes. Of course, maybe she answered some of those questions in other interviews before so she already had a leg up on that, but still.
