A fairly new doujinshi circle, iro*iro first made their public debut at last year's Comiket. Like many groups who aren't amongst the most popular, they usually lose or don't earn any profit from their doujin sales at doujin conventions, but they also create standard convention merchandise, including but not limited to buttons, charms, and prints. Some of their work can also be found at specialty stores, but they don't have any works that are standout. Yet. They don't focus on any particular series, so their work ranges to standard anime/manga to various popular Western series to idols. Their tone of their work is also diverse, releasing stories that are serious, humourous, or anything in between, including all that erotic shippy stuff that doujin is stereotypically known for. Their scattered focus may be a reason for their straggling start, but this group of nerds are into so many things, and ultimately they create work out of love and the desire to share their work with others. With young members mostly busy with work or school, they try their best to get as many members to meet up on days off to discuss and work on their new projects, practise, and of course watch and read new interests and old. Since Hazuki spends a lot of time in Akihabara and also does art, it makes sense for her to belong to a doujin group. The roster can expand to hold any number of members; they're a very welcoming group. For the most part, I'm not picky about the characters. I'm not picky about face claims, either. In fact, they can already be an existing character. I do have a few guidelines for all characters: - all genders are welcome
- age group is 18+ to around mid-20s
- they may have a pen name (optional)
- they will have an artist claim, in that a mangaka will represent their artwork.
- they have some kind of skill in art: drawing, inking, layouts, screentoning, typesetting, writing, etc. They will generally have an area of specialty, though they are not bound to one task all the time -- but they can if they want.
- if they like idols, SUPER✩RANGERS will probably be their favourite or at least second favourite, given their work with anime; however, given that they create idol-related work, liking idols is enough.
- members aren't required to work on every book they release, so not everyone has to have the same interests or agree with what they're creating.
Character suggestions (not required): - they may work at Hazuki's maid cafe, Cafe Kokoro, as either a maid or cooking staff
- they might have known Hazuki from childhood/school
- at least one character has to have enterpreneurial skills
- some are in it just for fun; some intend to become professionals
- at least one of them might not have a job or go to school and have no idea what they're doing with life
- since they are creating fanwork, they're probably pretty nerdy. How outwardly fannish are they? Do they wear any merchandise, wear clothes that resemble the characters they like, or dye their hair a certain colour? Or are they more reserved about it and just like talking about it to friends and people in Akihabara?

Like the GEM247 mock website, I'd love to make a site for iro*iro as well. We can make up mock doujin covers with story summaries, and it would be fun if they involved the idols or even regular celebrities. By the way, the images are from Gekkan Shoujo Nozaki-kun. I'm new to wanted ads, so if this is odd, that's why. If you have any questions or want to discuss anything, please post here or in the cbox if you see me online!
