CHIGIRI-E
My role in society, or any artist's or poet's role, is to try and express what we all feel. Not to tell people how to feel. Not as a preacher, not as a leader, but as a reflection of us all.

ESSENTIALS
PERSONALITY:
Chiyo is a fairly responsible person when it comes to her duties within sheeP and taking care of her grades in school, allowing her to manage both at the same time. She tries to be as friendly as possible to those she considers friends, offering help to them or checking on how they are daily. She genuinely cares about her friends and is willing to help a stranger who looks like they need it. Though she can come off as a forceful individual, constantly trying to assure herself that her natural scowl isn't making others scared of her by forcing herself to start conversations and help. Despite being very involved in the lives of others, Chiyo prefers to hold in her personal problems leading to her having a bad habit of being selfless.
Her selflessness often causes her to disregard injuries, often convincing herself that she would only slow down the group if she reached out for help herself. Chiyo has a problem of being easily embarrassed, feeling physically ill when singing in front of a large crowd. This has led her to being nervous about upcoming performances, usually finding courage to perform by being around the other members of sheeP. Chiyo is fairly modest about her abilities as a soloist, despite having obvious talent for singing. Though, her modesty is probably from her inability to view herself in good light due to being very self-conscious.
HISTORY:
Chiyo was born into a low income family, having a very hard-working mother and father. She often spent time alone when she was old enough to stand on two feet, learning responsibility faster than most children whom had others to take care of them. Though, an accident occured which caused their apartment building to burn down. Chiyo barely escaped the fire as she had her left shoulder pinned to the ground by burning material. She was saved by a member of the fire department before the flames severely burned her skin, leaving the site with a scar and a weak shoulder. Her mother was located in a portion of the building that lacked proper exits, leading to the fire department being unable to save her.
After the accident, her father had gone into a deep depression and couldn't properly take care of Chiyo. Soon, she was taken from her father and placed into a foster home. Her new foster parents were kind to her, though Chiyo couldn't get used to them. She missed her mother and father, being too young to understand why they were out of her life. She often felt distraught about this, and her foster mother resorted to singing Chiyo to sleep so she would calm down. Music had often calmed her down after this, and Chiyo couldn't be found without some form of music blasting in her ears.
Because of music being such a big influence on her childhood, Chiyo developed such a big passion for it. Although she couldn't find vocal teachers, she had to resort to singing by herself in seclusion while using recordings of idols as a way of checking her progress. While she hadn't unlocked her full potential, her voice was good enough to have awed a company and led to the chance to train with real teachers to develop her natural talent.
APPEARANCE:
One of her most signature traits is a scowl she inherited from her father, though she can't help it. This causes her to glare when she doesn't mean to, usually when she's in deep though. She has light brown hair, which she often keeps down though she will rarely put it up in a ponytail, and she has brown colored eyes. She tans rather easily, causing her to appear tan or pale at times. Chiyo maintains a petite figure and has a flat-chest, which doesn't bother her as gigantic breasts seems like a bother to her.
COMMON WEAR:
Chiyo likes to wear loose-fitting clothes outside of school and idol work, such as hoodies. Her hoodies often have an animal theme and she prefers dark blue pants over skirts. She doesn't detest wearing skirts, in fact she does have quite a few dresses in her dresser from her late mother. She just doesn't like revealing her skin too much, feeling embarrassed about the thought of having tight clothes show her figure. Chiyo has a burn mark on her left shoulder, giving her another reason to avoid revealing clothing.
OTHER FEATURES:
She has a rather large burn mark on her shoulder from a childhood incident. Most of the pain related to the scar has gone away, though that shoulder is weak compared to the rest of her body. The scar is very noticeable when Chiyo wears light colors or tight clothing, causing her to steer clear of both options.

OTHER INFORMATION
TALENTS & SKILLS Chiyo shows great promise as an idol even though she hasn't trained as long as members of top idol groups. She is able to reach low and high notes with ease, as well as sing with clear pronunciation. She is very modest when it comes to her vocals in sheeP, often finding herself embarrassed with her singing voice in the presence of others.
Chiyo is a closet fan of the Metroid series and has the ability to do fast speedruns of the each game.
DISCOVERY She was talked into participating in a talent show by some of her friends at school, although all of them bailed last second due to stage fright. She reluctantly decided to carry on with the performance and sang a childhood lullaby for the small crowd. Among the crowd as a representative for Tiny Sheep Entertainment, asking her if she would be willing to drop by their offices. Several visits led to her being brought into their idol group, sheeP.
ETCETERA Chiyo is still in the closet about being a lesbian, unable to tell even her closest friends. She is very awkward about her sexuality because of this, preferring to steer conversations away from that. She currently has unrequited feelings for a girl two years older than her, often feeling nervous and sick around her crush.
