akiyama akane friends. Akane is always open to others and will bring out sisterly antics when it comes to those younger than her. Because of that, she tries to come off as mature. However, another side can be seen around those older or those the same age (and heck, even younger) than her as she shows a youthful side. She's very cheery and will encourage her friends, because everybody deserves the best in her eyes! If you ever feel like talking, she'll always give you a ear and even a shoulder if you need it. She tends to be more protective over her friends. enemies. She's not really the type to make enemies, but one could view her a hypocrite, nosy, or weak. If there is a problem with somebody then she'll most likely try to pry to comfort them and she's always worrying if something is truly wrong with others. (appearing to be annoying and nosy). She'l tries to be a mature adult but can be like a cheery child, which could be hypocritical. Her sister antics can appear to be belittling, without her knowledge of it being so. She ain't know about people viewing her as a enemy, which could annoy them further. The only time she'll think of somebody as a enemy is if they are truly cruel to the others. love interests. Perhaps somebody could break her usual facade? As convincing as her actions around others are, Akane puts up a cheery and positive wall. She feels like she isn't very special than others and feels like she needs to be positive since she's older than most, probably due to her experiences in the past. With one that she loves, Akane will be a bit teasing but it's all in good fun (you may shoot back some teases as well, but she'll probably get flustered). There's not much you have to do to please her since she's just happy to have somebody that really cares for her -- just a simple gift like a hair accessory or just hanging out is good enough Valentine's Day gift for her. She's a romantic so it doesn't matter how small a action is, she'll appreciate it nonetheless and she'll probably return the favor by making the best bento lunch or something incredibly chessy like that~. Akane might be a little clingy, so don't be surprised if she may act a little jealous. others. I want to plot with everybody♪ ~. I'd prefer if you could just place an idea so I could get a feel of it, thanks!

Hey!  I kind think that. being a co-member of sheeP, Miho might look up to Akane a bit.  Maybe even be a candidate for those 'sisterly antics' you mentioned!  I'm not sure if anyone would know Miho's secret or if anyone did, how many would know within the group.. but regardless Miho would welcome someone to talk to about things.  And stuff.  Sorry if this' vague!

I can definitely see that! Since Miho is younger than her Akane would apply the sister deal onto her as she would with other young ones. Even if she knew his secret, Akane would treat Miho no differently than if she didn't; she'll find him to be a strong boy for dealing with all that he has as well as actively going to be himself after the entire thing too. But if she did know his secret then she might be even more protective of him seeing how many could react quite negatively to his ordeal. It'd probably easier to lose her cool if anybody reacted negatively towards him.

I can really see Miho feeling like Akane as a cool older sister.  He'd certainly be happy to tag along on even the most mundane outings if it meant he could hang out with her.  The way way he looks up to her would probably only be heightened by how protective she is of him, especially if she did know.  She'd probably be the kind of person he'd trust with his secret because of that.  I'd probably only want maybe one or two people to know it to begin with, but would be open to Akane being one of them.  Or maybe it would make for a good thread for Akane to be just finding out, and Miho likely freaking out at first.  What do you think?

Ahhhh, this is so cute♡.

Akane would be so happy that Miho sees her as a older sister, especially a cool one! It's really cool and special that somebody sees her as such a caring figure, as her problems in the past concerning her actual little sister went into ruins without her knowledge of what exactly happened beats down on her a lot.

I'm open to any idea of a thread with them, but yours sounds really good; we can definitely fit in this type of relation with them with that kind of plot♡. Since you wanted at least two people to know, would you prefer a open thread or one exclusively with Miho and Akane?

I suppose the next thing to decide is where the thread should take place.  Miho normally changes at home but sometimes that just isn't possible, especially if there's an actual event sheeP is performing at.  On such occasions he tries to get to somewhere nearby extra early so that he can change there.  Or maybe even sneak in to the dressing room if nobody's around.  He looks girly enough that he'd probably be able to avoid tipping people off if he hurried past.  But maybe he does that one day and Akane walks in on him changing?  Or he accidentally leaves something with his school's name on it sitting around?  Maybe even if he was visiting her and left the room temporarily while leaving incriminating evidence around?


To begin with I think starting it off with just Miho and Akane would be best, to really focus on that aspect of their friendship.  Of course we could leave it open for maybe one other person to join in!

I do like the item idea. We could using it maybe like this; Miho rushes to change for an sheeP event but while trying to change so quickly he leaves a school item with his name on it. After the event, Akane is the last one to go home and finds the school item with Miho's full name on it and decides to visit Miho to give it back?

Yes, I think that would be good to have it open to a few people (I was thinking sheeP members) in concerning it is mainly Miho and Akane. Too many people in the thread would slightly steer away from Miho's and Akane's development.

I like the way you're thinking with the setup.  Here's what I'm thinking: the item doesn't just have Miho's name on it, but his picture - like his ID card or something.  Granted it would have the name 'Minoru Hidaka' on it so maybe there'd be some misunderstanding about the owner's true identity?  Maybe it would seem like Miho has a brother or something, until Akane visits him.  I'm thinking to make it even more awkward for Miho, maybe he's just getting out of the shower/bath?  So he's just wearing a towel when Akane arrives and absent-mindedly opens the door without thinking about it too much.
Should I get a thread started towards this end then?  Maybe tag it as open for up to two other people?  Characters from sheeP obviously getting preference?  My plan would be to have an intro post with Miho changing, then kind of skipping the actual performance and have him head home, leaving the ID card or whatever behind.  Something like that.

Yup, that seems pretty good. I'm sure Akane would just think it was a relative of Miho's and she'd would walk in a home of somebody she knows well without a second thought. I'm fine with two people being allow in the thread as well.

Kaz & Akane

I see Akane as the warmth that helps keep the group optimistic despite Kaz's sometimes cold words. She would possibly hold some resentment towards him, as he can be pretty harsh towards the rest of the group. She may feel the need to defend them if she feels his criticisms are too much. Of course he would have quickly realized how quickly she shuts down when it's instead focused at her. Something he would likely take advantage of.

It likely wouldn't take long for Kaz to see through her tough exterior. He's seen enough actual tough guys in his life to know a fake when he sees it. Not to mention how little she seems to defend herself in comparison to others. Though he never really calls her out on it, he does have a particular sparkle in his eye whenever he scolds her. As if to say 'you're not fooling me'.

I myself am not sure how well they would get along outside of their professional relationship. I admit I don't fully understand the character, so she may be more willing to defend herself than I understand. What do you think?

Ah, sorry if she's a confusing character, as I am not good at explaining personalities decently. ;;;

But I can see to what you're going at and it's pretty good! Akane would go and comment lightly on how he should go easier on the chiding he does. She would go along the lines of 'they're just kids' or 'they're new so they can't be good at everything' for her reasons on why the others and then give them words of encouragement, probably while he wasn't looking (as in when everybody is going home or something of the sort).
She thinks Kazuki to be a little blunt (read it as rude) and feels like he should at least say something positive towards the others once in a while. When the words are directed towards her she would just take them without any defense, something along the lines of a nod and a "You're right. I'm sorry." as she would trust that she isn't very good in her work. Also I can see her being controlled by Kazuki easily since she wouldn't do much against it. Even if his requests were strange (just as a example) she would look at it in a positive point of view since she mostly likes to ignore the negative aspects of things, though at the back of her mind she knows what is happening. "He's the manager so what he asks can't be that bad right?" would be her thoughts. (Though I believe that there would be a few exceptions, for example if he asked her about Miho's situation seeing how they will be close or anything secretive, so it say.)

As for outside, Akane would still put up that positive persona since she's with another person though I think she might feel a little intimidated by him. She would have a weird feeling around him, like there's something a little shifty about him probably because of the sly smirk he portrays and some of his mannerisms during work (such as that gleam in his eye during his scoldings towards her that you mentioned). She definitely gets the feeling that there's a little more to him than he puts out. Even so, she will not discriminate just because of that as once more "nobody can be utterly horrible and he must mean well"! Not to mention he is also the way she can become a idol, even outside of work.

On the positive side, she does see his work as important; there's no buts about that. Especially seeing how he's the reason for everybody becoming idols so it'd only be natural to be respectful towards him at least. Completely going against Kazuki would be blasphemy to her as he is the boss and knows what he's doing. This respect would be applied in both work and non-work environments. She can admire how he properly change his demeanor with children and how at times it does seem he cares about the members, seeing how sometimes tries to be supportive of sheeP, such as Ayuki (it makes her wish even more that he could be less harsh with his scoldings and it can actually give her a little hope that he could go that way).

Of course these are just 'rough draft' type of thoughts so these can definitely be discussed, changed, subtracted, or added onto. Especially since our characters have yet to interact with each other. I also hope my scattered thoughts make sense, haha. If there's anything else you wish to know then I'll try to explain as good as a can (which is not much sadly, gomen).

Akanae's a sharp one aint she? This all sounds good to me. He does show enough gentleness and patience to the idols that it would make sense for her to think that deep down he's a real nice guy. Especially if you factor in how nice he usually is in public. After all he seems genuine enough. But she does have good reason to be suspicious of him, as his shifts in behavior and general attitude are quite unusual. Though I feel kinda bad that she just does whatever he says. It's something he'll certainly take advantage of, as one would expect of him. (Don't worry it won't be anything too strange) Her loyalty is appreciated as well.

It seems these two will get along well...ish? It's not as if they would be close friends, but there would be little enough friction that he would enjoy he wouldn't mind her company.

Akane is mature, something the aging Ayuki could only dream of being. During rehearsals, Ayuki would watch Akane practice and try her best to be mature as well, though it would only end up looking odd on her, ahaha.

She has this sheeP family headcanon in her mind where each member is a member of the family. I think she would see Akane as the mom and Kaz as the dad and just suddenly assume they have a thing for each other, ahaha.

I don't have any cool ideas right now, but if any come to mind for you, I'm all ears! c:
