CAMARADERIE

Youta is a very friendly person. He enjoys making friends, but he also understands that friends come and go. In fact, Youta is more likely to let a person float off on their own if they choose to and he doesn't want to hold people back at all. That's the last thing he wants to do to anyone. He's very honest and genuine and keeps secrets very well, and he seems to recognize many people thanks to his job as a freelance pianist. If anyone happened to approach Youta after his time block at a café or bar, he'd be more than happy to chat them up. He's the type of person who would go out looking for friends after they spent a night of drinking, find them asleep on a random lawn, and take it upon himself to drag them home.

ADVERSARIES

He has a tendency to be very self-depreciating, which I sense may rub people the wrong way. Youta is also a person who tries to avoid conflicts if possible. He tries his best to stay away from it and will often dance around the subject if something is wrong. However, he is very quick to forgive and doesn't hold grudges.

ROMANCES

Oops Youta is still a little hung over his ex, so despite the fact that he's very pleasant to be around, it's likely that he'll decide nopenopenope when romance comes his way. It's not that he doesn't want to become involved in another relationship, rather, he doesn't think that he really has what it takes to be a good partner or significant other to another person. Most of the relationships he's seen have failed (ie his parents' marriage), so he needs someone patient who can show him that he's not an utter failure 1000% of the time.

MISCELLANEOUS

COME AT ME actually I think it would be kind of neat if Youta had a star sister of some sort, someone the opposite of him. If you're interested, please take a glance at my wanted ad.

I think these two would make some really good friends. I think maybe having someone who isn't an idol might be good for him? There isn't anything that makes Youta happier than making sure other people are okay, so I don't think he'll mind at all that Uehara sticks to him like glue.

Do you know how many drunk people Youta has had to drag home. Actually, knowing him, he probably would have stuck around after playing for a night and taken it upon himself to find out where each person lives, then called taxis for all of them. Or just... made sure they slept all right if the owner didn't mind people asleep at the tables .

A bar thread sounds like a good idea, yes. Youta is a great multi-tasker. He can play piano all while bantering at once, except the music probably slowly grows in crescendo the deeper they get into a conversation l- (though I think you've seen my hiatus thread so I can't... really post until I get back whoops)

I am okay with a stranger drunk teasing Youta (100% okay). I'd imagine these two would still be friendly with each other after Tsubaki was sober though heh.

I think I may be approving of this plot a little more than I should oops

Kame & Youta

I see Youta as perhaps being a friend of Kame's who watches out for her, even if he sighs about the pain-in-the-neck that she truly is along the way. Considering Kame's horrible drinking problem, I can see Youta being fairly patient with her and helping her out to the best of his abilities. Yes, including dragging her from the lawn to the couch while she is passed out drunk. I can also very much see Youta being a person that Kame would take an interest in. Not romantically, though as she normally does, she will joke about it. Perhaps she will find that she could trust the young pianist, perhaps even enough to tell him her little secret....

I'm really find of this idea as well. I think it may even be possible for Youta to see Kame as a sort of an older sister figure especially since I think she's good at her job while he is one step away from being a hobo oops. He has a lot of patience too and if she frequents bars enough, he may see her enough to recognize the manager. I don't think she would have to worry about being a manager around Youta either which maybe gives her an opportunity to de-stress? I... hope that made sense orz I think Kame is a really fun character!

Fellow Koreans must band together yes? ^^ I feel like Youta and Min-Jae would have an awkward, sort of maybe not friendship, and get along the best they can. Because of their similar circumstances, it wouldn't be much of a surprise if they happened to live in the same apartment building and happened to meet by chance. Maybe they'd find some things in common? They're both absorbed in their hobbies or jobs or whatever, Youta with his music, Min-Jae with his studying and photography. These two are both honest, Min-Jae brutally so, while Youta is honest in a way that doesn't hurt the other person. Their histories are a bit similar, with the need to succeed. I can see them having a bit of a love-hate relationship, Youta wishes for idols to succeed, while Min-Jae hates the idol industry and wishes his family or more specifically his brother had never been involved at all. 

They could get along quite well I think. 

A good scenario would maybe be meeting at a cafe that Youta plays at and Min-Jae frequents, or as I said before, they could live in the same apartment building~ I'd say they could meet at a bar too, while Min-Jae is but it seems everyone's doing that too~ ^^

Definitely, yes. I think that Youta and Min-Jae could get along quite well if they set apart the differences that they had. Youta would be completely fine with that. He enjoys the company of others, and I think that he would admire Min-Jae's ambition. Youta doesn't really have any and also would admire Min-Jae's studying because he doesn't have any confidence in his study skills. Makes me kind of wonder if Min-Jae would be able to help him back into school or something.

As far as their opinions on idols, Youta really just wants everyone to succeed at whatever they do. He'd be completely willing to listen to what Min-Jae had to say about it as well.

Also I would be okay with them living in the same apartment! It would give us a springboard to go off on and get these two to know each other. I feel that Youta would invite Min-Jae over to his place and ask if he wanted to help make kimchi or eat seaweed soup of some sort l- maybe hotteuk if Min-Jae was in the mood for something sweet.

finally finished! behold, your estranged sister, in the flesh! ready to bump into you at a mundane cafe in tokyo and spend half an hour thinking how she should handle the situation, until you get off stage because she's been in there for two hours in reality oops. she chases after you down the street, which is possible because of course she's in disguise and lots of strong words and disbelief occur between you. that said i'll be going on vacation when you come back so this might take a while to actually happen and i kind of just vomited words on your plotter. u bro

I do have access to a computer here, but my posting will be a little irregular. However, I'd be more than happy to thread with you! I'm looking forward to how both of them will react to the reunion. Youta will probably recognize Mi-Rang's face as Sugimoto Kotone instead of his sister due to the minor plastic surgery, but after a second look, I think he'd have a double-take. If we do thread, would it be better if I started and had Youta preparing to leave the café so Kotone can follow him, or would it be best if you began and had Kotone already following after Youta? Either way is good with me! Again, thanks so much for picking up the wanted ad!
