It's almost Spring in Akiba!
Spring season change will be on MARCH 22, the official start of spring in the northern hemisphere! When spring time comes, there will be another activity check! Be prepared!
What types of events should we hold in the spring?
At the end of March, Tokyo will host an anime convention, AnimeJapan. That's one idea! Aside form that, I'm not really sure, ahaha.
Character-driven events?
If that's even the proper word for it, haha. I was always thinking to give characters managing - or members of - idol groups to run the group their own way. So with coming and going of members, it would allow the feel of the group to feel - just like in reality!
For example, whenever an idol group wants to host their own site event, they can send it to an admin for review and acceptance. Events can range from tours and concerts to PR events... maybe even a music video shoot or recruit auditions? Anything, really!
I think it'd be fun to see idol groups change and grow over time! Tell me what you think!

Our Ads is also open for you guys to help spread the word about the site! If you ever see anywhere you would like to advertise, pick up the code here and post away!
Don't forget, the OOC box is on the left of the screen. "Click to Toggle" button will open up the CBox! But be sure to refresh often since it does not manually update!
The Monster Masquerade fall event, will also linger around for a bit longer!
Check out our Winter Events!

Since it's a big/common event, I would suggest having a hanami/cherry blossom festival -- the site already looks the part, right? I know it's mostly picnics in the park with friends, but I think there are some areas where they do more than just that. There's the Hirosaki Sakura Matsuri which is one of the most famous festivals (links of some examples; this may be useful as well), and they have festival stalls and even a haunted house? If that's not enough, I think artistic license would allow to add events like dance/music performances (for anyone, not just idols; maybe idol groups as a whole wouldn't be allowed to perform together?), culinary events, contests, and so on. I'm more familiar with cherry blossom festivals here than in Japan, haha. Hirosaki is quite a ways away from Tokyo though so I don't suppose every character can make it there easily, but I'm sure that only matters on how attentive to detail people are or want to be. I love the idea of allowing groups/members to run their own events. I would love to see "meet the fans"-type events sometime!

We should do the AnimeConvention, preferably with the idol groups present and organizing the event. We can have threads for each idol group wherein they'd post ICly what they are doing and whatnot. You call for it. Member-driven events may not work well, to be honest, considering our number here.
I'm not so good with ideas, sorry.
I also like the idea of Hirosaki, just saying! ^O^

Okay, I'll get to adding the Hirosaki and AnimeJapan events! C: And yeah, considering our member count, I'm a bit worried about how member-driven events will play out, too. I'll think on it a bit more for now~. u v u
